We enjoyed our stay here as it was in the vicinity of Van Dusen Gardens, Queen Elizabeth Park.

Comfy king sized bed. Room was spacious. Nice clean bathroom. Roomy coat room. Air-conditioner. Provided coffee and coffee maker. Quiet room in back of house. Beautiful garden. Beautiful neighbourhood in behind 41st Ave. Walking distance to to stores and restaurants and to Van Dusen Gardens. R4 bus right outside takes you to UBC in 20 min. We were able to check in earlier than the usual check-in time. Thanks! Great communication from host.

Maybe stock kitchen area with more items? A few more dishes, dishcloths, saran wrap, baggies, twist ties. Thank you for the creamers! They were appreciated.

Huge private room with private bathroom and kitchenette.

Fantastic stay, the room was so spacious and clean. It had a dining table, double bed and couch. Private bathroom was also very spacious, they even provided towels and soap like at a hotel. The room also had a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge and a kettle, perfect for any traveller. The place was ever so quiet. The beds were comfortable and the owner was nice. I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Vancouver.

Comfortable private suite in a convenient location between Central Vancouver and the Airport.

Privately owned self-catering suite in a convenient location halfway between central Vancouver and the airport. Clean and comfortable, good-sized room with small separate kitchen and a large shower-room. Comfortable covered communal seating area with guidebooks and other reading materials alongside the family swimming pool, which unfortunately was not yet in use when we visited (late May). and we understand is unheated when available. Public transport to the city centre is a few minutes' walk away, and plenty of Uber's available too.

Perfect place to stay near the airport.

Excellent place to stay. A short drive from the airport, the room is spacious, bright and clean. Parking is easy and there are lots of shops, restaurants and parks within easy walking distance.

Extremely enjoyable stay…

I loved the beautiful location and how quiet it was at night. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom huge. I also liked the TV streaming system and the Wi-Fi was really fast and stable. I also liked that you could open the windows to let fresh air in. Nice view of the garden. It felt safe and secure. It was easy to call Uber from there & catch buses. I liked being in this suburb. There are two 24 hour service stations and some restaurants close by. The owner was extremely kind and let me check out late. She was lovely and a good communicator.

I didn’t like that supermarkets were quite a distance away and that the fridge was tiny. No hob. It was also dusty and could have been cleaner.

A very pleasant stay.

The location was excellent; very close to two major bus lines that took you downtown or to Kerrisdale and UBC. The accommodation was large and very spacious containing a comfortable sofa, small table and two chairs in addition to a king size bed. The bathroom was also large with a very good shower. The pantry/kitchenette was equipped with a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and small fridge. A major bonus was the quietness despite being on a major street. I only met the hosts outside on a couple of occasions when returning to the guest house. They were very friendly and responsive to a couple of small requests I had. Having lived in Vancouver for 34 years in the past, I was not dependent on them for information about Vancouver. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

It’s a very convenient distance from the airport. It was also not far from UBC on the bus to go see our son.

The common area looks great but it is only suitable for summer months as there is no heat in there. It was hard to get the heat just right in the room—it was either too hot or too cold for sleeping and we couldn’t find an extra blanket (these are minor issues!). We would totally stay here again.

We liked pretty much everything! The location was great - a few minutes walk to the bus right downtown and a short walk to several nice shops and restaurants. We didn’t see much of the owners but they were very helpful and let us leave our luggage after check out time. Super comfy bed!

This is one of the best location in West side of Vancouver, great way to explore UBC or head to the beach. For the summer especially in the autumn, this place is such a bonus for the nature lovers , photographers who enjoy their own time and care for their pleasure walk around the beautiful streets.

The room was very attractive and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom areas were great. All that you would need was provided. The bed was very comfortable. The location was a comfortable walk to a main street where there were restaurants and convenience stores.

I have mobility issues and I felt that there should be safety bars in the shower. I didn't feel safe using the shower. A lock on the bathroom door would be good but not necessary.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and bedding, great communication. Very close to airport, lovely community and gated parking.

We arrived and it was getting dark. Walkway to our room is around the side and in the back of the house. Directions to get key were clear but still felt a bit nervous.

Exceptional

The suite was spotless, very comfortable bed, excellent room temperature. There were little treats like waffles, tea, water ect. Beautiful garden to have breakfast at. My mom and I were very comfortable there. Location is good. A little further from everything but safe and quiet. 10-15 min uber to downtown and restaurants. It is located in a walking distance to VanDusen Gardens.
