A surprising good experience in the area!

Wonderful house, very good for 2-3 families. Wonderful terrace and nice garden. New furniture, very well chosen. All necessary appliances. The pine smell of the nearby forest is amazing. Very quiet location. We had all things necessary for the stay there. A nearly new house with better conditions than at hotel.

You must have a car to reach the location. Greece has problems with Internet speed or availability everywhere in the country but this is not the owners problem. Same problem with the road access which must be largely improved by local authorities.

Maisonette D'Amira ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und sich Wohlfühlen!

Das Haus liegt abseits der Ortschaften in einem neu erschlossenen Wohngebiet ohne direkte Nachbarn; in Eretria ist man nach 8 Minuten mit dem Auto. Es verfügt über einen kleinen Garten mit Kamingrill und hat zwei Stockwerke. Jedes Stockwerk verfügt über eine große, überdachte Terrasse mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten, auf denen man alle Mahlzeiten einnehmen und gemütlich den Tag verbringen kann; man muss also nicht unbedingt an den Strand, wenn man eigentlich den Tag sich sonnend und lesend verbringen möchte. Ortsbedingt ist nur ein kleiner Teil des Meeres sichtbar, aber dafür ist man umgeben von Pinien und zwitschernden Vögeln. Die Küche ist voll funktional ausgestattet; man merkt, dass die Eigentümer das Haus zwischenzeitlich auch selbst nutzen; der Kühlschrank mit Gefriersegment ist riesig. Es gibt einen Esstisch für 6 Personen und eine gemütliche Sofarunde, die nicht nur gemütlich aussieht: Die Sofas sind wirklich sehr bequem! Jede Etage verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche; die Waschmaschine haben wir nicht benutzt, aber alle Arten von Waschmitteln, Wäscheklammern und auch ein Wäscheständer stehen bereit. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten haben verschiedene Härtegrade: Es sollte für jeden Rücken etwas dabei sein. Jedes Fenster bzw. jede Tür ist mit Fliegengittern ausgerüstet, sodass man stets lüften kann, ohne sich hinterher über ungebetene Gäste ärgern zu müssen. Da das Haus mit einer Alarmanlage gesichert wird, muss man sich um Wertsachen keine Gedanken machen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und nett: Sie spricht hervorragend Englisch! Alles in allem: Volle Empfehlung! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Die Vermieterin kann dagegen nichts machen, aber der Fairness halber sollte erwähnt werden, dass die Nachbarschaft – wie im Süden in ländlichen Gegenden häufig üblich – Hunde offenbar sehr mag: Gerade nachts könnten Ohrstöpsel hilfreich sein, wenn man lärmempfindlich ist. Mit Ohrstöpseln haben wir aber auch bei offenen Fenstern nichts mehr gehört!
