About this house rental

A charming stay in a brand new house (sustainable built) with a private access, an enclosed garden with trees, at street level, in front of the living room. Nature and relaxation. Under the shade of a terrace lined with citrus and laurels, armchairs, wrought-iron table, sun loungers and barbecue inviting you depending on what you want to do, to idleness or to happiness and long meals during summer...! The kitchen has only what is necessary. It is next to the dining table... but it combines charm and functionality, wood and fair-faced concrete creating an inviting atmosphere... Widely open on the garden thanks to a large picture window, the living room has a welcoming atmosphere with modern furniture; (wicker armchairs, puff and sofa bed). One flat screen TV and wifi access add to the comfort.

Owners are absent. Not there to greet us when we arrived, or see us off when we left. Guests are left to fend for themselves, including items like TP, coffee, or any orientation of the property. Outdoor furniture is worn, dirty and uncomfortable. Do not be taken in by the romanticized imagery. Would never consider staying at this property again.

This is in a lovely setting and near St. Remy. We enjoyed the garden. However, the listing is incorrect by stating there are three toilets, one in each shower room and a half bath. There is only one toilet in the hallway between the bedrooms. We probably would not have booked this for 4 adults with only one toilet to share if we had known that.

Very comfortable house in a beautiful garden

My wife and I spent 4 weeks in this lovely house with a large yard with roses and flowers, located 1 km from the city center. We enjoyed cooking our meals as locals. We loved being in a town right next to so many attractions. The house offers two very spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom with shower. Mate and Francis, the owners live right next door, are always available for whatever we needed, and were especially dedicated when my wife twisted her ankle and required medical attention. The beds are comfortable and new. The living room is very large and the kitchen is very well equipped. The gas grill is wonderful for outdoor cooking and is very efficient. We had the comforts of home. We loved being able to make side trips for a day or longer. We definitely recommend this house for a week but even more for longer rentals because there is much to do in the area.

Wonderful House in a Great Location

My wife and I spent 8 nights here in late May, and we have only positive things to say about. Francis and Marti, the owners, live next door, and they were most friendly and helpful. They respected our privacy, yet were available when we had questions. Talk about good customer service: Francis even met us at the Avignon TGV station, so we wouldn't get lost driving to the house! The house is less than one year old and is in excellent shape. There are two bedrooms with ensuite baths, and there is one shared WC in the hallway outside the bedrooms. Although there were just two of us, the house could easily accomodate a family with children, or two couples. The two houses share a large yard, which is off the road, and it is located about 1 Km. from the lovely town of St. Remy. All food and supplies are located in town, and there is a large weekly market on Wednesdays, which is not to be missed. The kitchen is large and well equiped. We ate all our breakfasts and some of our dinners there. There is a shaded patio right outside, where we ate our meals and sipped our wine. There are some minor downsides. Although there is free internet service, it is slow and unreliable. There is no air conditioning, which might be a problem in the heat of summer. However, the house is built with thick walls and is well insulated. We encoutered temperatures in the 90's during the day, but it cooled off at night, and we had no trouble sleeping. St. Remy is a great location for exploring Provence. There a countless charming towns and villages within an hour's drive. The beach is also about an hour away. Van Gogh fans will be delighted. The psychiatric hospital where he spent one of the most productive periods of his life is 10 minutes away, and Arles is less than a half hour. Avignon, a beautiful walled city, is also less than a half hour away. Numerous wineries are also within an hour's drive, and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. All in all, this house is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a more personal opportunity to explore the real Provence.

Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par notre hôtesse et ses délicates attentions. La maison est absolument charmante. Bien agencée et équipée. Meublée avec goût. On s'y sent chez soi. Avec une terrasse à l'ombre pour déjeuner. Le jardin avec ses lauriers, citronniers, oliviers est très vert grâce au ruisseau qui coule à proximité. Nous pouvions aller à pieds au centre ville situé à à peine un quart d'heure de marche. Et Saint Rémy est bien placé pour visiter d'autres lieux réputés sans faire des heures de route. De jolies vacances pour nous qui font beaucoup de bien. Un grand merci à Mate et Francis.

wir haben wundervolle Tage in St Remy verbracht. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet es herrscht eine sehr ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Der Vermieter spricht auch sehr gut deutsch. Auch unser Hund hat sich auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück wohl gefühlt. wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Die Innenstadt ist innerhalb von 10min zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation lief problemlos. Wir können dieses Haus zu 100% weiter empfehlen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Sehr schönes, ruhiges Haus. Wir haben die fußläufige Entfernung in die Stadt genossen, so dass man abends auch mal ohne Auto essen gehen konnte. Authentisch und trotzdem komfortabel und modern. Wir waren in der Nachsaison da und fanden es daher für diesen Umstand etwas zu teuer.

Großzügiges und gut gestaltetes Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub mit der Familie. Gut ausgestattete Küche (umfangreiches Geschirr, sehr gut auch zwei Kühlschränke). Großes geschütztes Grundstück mit sehr gepflegtem mediterranen Garten. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Provence. Ausgesprochen nette Vermieter. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine chez Maté et Francis. L'emplacement idéal de leur gîte nous a permis de visiter les alentours et de profiter de l'animation de St Rémy de Provence. Le gîte est parfaitement aménagé pour 4 personnes, chacune des deux chambres ayant sa salle de bain. Merci à Maté et Francis pour leur accueil. Seul petit désagrément, les moustiques. Nous avons tout essayé, diffuseur électrique, bombe, bougie de citronnelle, nous n'avons pas échappé à leur piqûres.

La maison est jolie et très bien aménagée & équipée. Le jardin privatif est grand et très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont particulièrement accueillants et rendent service dès que possible. A recommander sans aucune hésitation pour passer une très agréable semaine dans cette belle région.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans une maison charmante. Nous avons fort apprécié les 2 chambres avec chacune leur douche surtout avec 2 adolescentes. Merci à Marie-Thérèse et Francis pour leur acceuil et leur gentillesse : les confitures étaient excellentes !!! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation afin de profiter des environs sous le soleil. Estuvimos 8 días en julio de 2018 con 2 niños de 6 y 3 años. Los niños disfrutaron un montón jugando en el césped alrededor de la casa y visitando las gallinas. Era un lujo desayunar por las mañanas en la terraza. Estuvimos como en nuestra propia casa. El interior de la casa es sencillo pero está totalmente equipado, muy limpio y reciente. La cocina está muy completa. Y los anfitriones, Mate y Francis son encantadores y muy serviciales. El pueblo de Saint-Remy es de los más bonitos de la Provenza y muy buen punto de partida para explorarla. Recomiendo a cualquiera que viaje a la maravillosa Provenza que se aloje en esta acogedora casa.

Très bon séjour à Saint-Rémy. La location était tout à fait conforme à ce que présente le site. Belle maison agréablement meublée et bien équipée agrémentée d'un grand jardin parfaitement entretenu où l'on peut manger et faire des barbecues...Marie-Thérèse et son mari sont des hôtes charmants et discrets auprès desquels l'on peut obtenir de bonnes adresses tant pour les resto, les commerces ou les visites. La maison est très proche du centre de Saint-Rémy tout en étant située dans un endroit calme. Merci encore à Marie-Thérèse pour sa gelée de groseilles maison qui était excellente. Superbe maison à 15 minutes de marche de St Remy. Très bons restaurants à distance de marche. Nos hôtes sont accueillants et savent nous informer sur les choses à faire. St Remy est ideal car au centre de la Provence. Nous avons donc pu visiter facilement tout en étant toujours à une distance raisonnable.

Wer ein ruhiges, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und sauberes Ferienhaus sucht, mit einem schönen Gärten und einer lauschigen Essecke im Freien ist hier genau richtig. Die Vermieter, die direkt Nebenan wohnen, sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir (vier Erwachsene und zwei Hunde) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Saint-Remy ist der perfekte Standort, um die Provence zu erkunden und auch das Städtchen selbst ist wunderschön. Zu Fuß erreicht man das Zentrum von Saint-Remy vom Ferienhaus aus in zirka 10 bis 15 Minuten.

herzlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer, sprechen sogar ein wenig deutsch. Die Beiden wohnen direkt nebenan, aber Privatspähre ist dennoch gewährleistet. Haus zweistöcikg mit lauschiger Terrasse und Garten und tollem Grill. Innenausstattung auf gehobenem Niveau: vollausgestattete Küche mit neuwertigen Einbaugeräten, Geschirrspüler, Bosch Waschmaschine, zwei schöne Schlafzimmer jeweils mit schöner Dusche und Waschtisch, WC separat. Leider keine Klimaanlage aber man kann gut lüften indem man die Fenster öffnet. Nur 5 Autominuten zum hübschen Ortskern mit tollen Restaurants und Geschäften. Großer Supermarkt Intermarché nur 5 Autominuten entfernt. St Rémy eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangsbasis für Tagestouren, zB nach Avignon, Arles, Les Baux, sogar der Strand (Les St Marie de La Mer) ist nur 60 Autominuten entfernt. Der Aufenthalt hat uns rundum gefallen und wir können das Haus, die beiden netten Vermieter, die Lage uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Notre séjour au cours de l'été 2010 dans cette location a été très agréable. La décoration contemporaine est soignée, de bon goût et dans la tendance actuelle. S'agissant d'une constrution neuve, les matèriaux et équipements utilisés sont de qualité avec une recherche d'authenticité évidente et une orientation écologique intéressante. Par ailleurs, la propreté est irréprochable. Les propriétaires sont charmants, accueillants et disponibles pour les suggestions de découverte du patrimoine de cette si belle région ! Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite très à l'aise dans cette maison, bien située, entourée d'un jardin plaisant. En résumé, c'est une location bien sous tous rapports.

Un accueil très chaleureux après un long trajet nous a été réservé. Quelques attentions étaient présentes : bouquet d'arrivée, eau fraîche, rosé du pays...Des propriétaires très à l'écoute et absolument charmants. une location aux matériaux traditionnels, très bien équipée, tout confort à la décoration soignée. Un véritable instant de plaisir pour ce petit coin de Provence aux portes de St rémy. nous y avons passé un séjour très reposant en famille avec notre petit garçon qui a pu profiter du grand jardin en toute quiétude.
