We were charmed from the moment we arrived by the beautiful grounds, bucolic environment, and a warm welcome by our host. The home is immaculately clean, and shows great care and exquisite taste in its decorating. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped for meals. We enjoyed the grill for cooking and dining outside on the terrace. The pool was warm, clean and very relaxing! Located very close to St Remy village, this beautiful home was perfect for our daily activities in town and to nearby villages in Provence. We are so very grateful to the generous owner for sharing their beautiful home with us!

My wife and 3 children and my mum and dad all loved our stay at Le Petit Mas Baptiste. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. The garden is a really great space with several areas to sit and relax in, our 3 children loved the pool. The 2 older ones also enjoyed playing table tennis and our 2 year old enjoyed the swings. The photos really don't do the place justice. The kitchen is great for people that like to cook with the fabulous local produce. Genevieve was a great host and asked in the weeks before what extra things we might need for our children to make our stay easier. She also went out and immediately got gas for the plancha when the bottle ran out and she even lent my wife and 2 year old clothes for the first couple of days when our baggage never went missing at the airport! Thank you again! Overall we were very impressed with the property and had a great time there.

A small farmhouse that has been restored with great taste. It lies on a plateau just outside the charming town of St-Remy; just a few minutes drive will bring you to shops, bars, restaurants and petrol stations. There are views to the Alpilles from the top of the plateau and several tracks in the surrounding nature reserve. Inside was plesantly warm during our stay (mid-March), with two reversible air-conditioning units and a lovely wood-pellet-burning stove that heated up the main rooms very quickly. The kitchen had everything you need to make a good meal and of course the view out of the window is stunning! The beds are comfortable (although we found the pillows too soft, but that's a personal thing), the rooms are dark once the shutters are closed. The upstairs bathroom door lies at the turn of the staircase so we used a torch at night. People more than 1.80m high might find the beams and the sloping ceilings upstairs a bit of a nuisance too. These are just minor niggles and did not at all spoil a wonderful week. St-Remy is well placed for trips to stunning places within one hour's drive; we went to the walled town of Aigues-Mortes, the hilltop citadel of Les Baux,an ornithological park in the Camargue to see flamingos and the magical Pont du Gard. Avignon and Villeneuve would also be reachable but we know them well already. Genevieve lives in the big farm next door and is a terrific hostess, quick to reply and solve any problems. A little French would be helpful.

Excellent stay in this cozy fully equipped clean house. Everything was perfect besides two small remarks: maybe the sofa has had its best days, and caution with big dogs outside because in the garden the wall/fence with the Alpilles reserve is only one meter high, our galgo just jumped over several times and walked himself in the nature reserve… Luckily he comes back himself after chasing some rabbits.

We had a wonderful stay at Genevieve's home. Genevieve was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived and before we left. The location is absolutely beautiful and away from the crowds, but close to the beautiful village of St. Remy. The house met all of our expectations and more. We would be very happy to come back to this wonderful place.

Everything exceeded our expectations. An incredible location, home and yard. The kids loved the pool, toys, games and being able to walk out onto the garrigue. The home is very well appointed with lovely linens and everything we could have possibly needed and more. Genevieve was a very gracious host. We would love to return soon.

This is a very comfortable house set in lovely grounds. There's a small but perfectly adequate pool, and lots of other facilities for children (table tennis, football goal, swings etc). We especially enjoyed having many outside seating areas in sun or shade. You can walk out onto the garrigue from the house, and if you are keen you can certainly walk into the town - or it's a very short drive. Genevieve could not have been more helpful with all the arrangements. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need or want 4 bedrooms.

We absolutely loved our stay in Genevieve’s amazing house. Everything was perfect - the house and amenities were probably the best we have ever had and we have booked again for next year. Great location for lovely shops and restaurants- loved it! My husband and I spent almost a week in Geneviève's lovely home just outside of St. Rémy. The house is very well stocked with special touches that exhibit its value - lovely bath and pool towels, large applicances, clean facilities, etc. The pool, while not large, was perfect for wading about in the sun. There's a plancha-style gas grill for outdoor cooking that works very well. The house is located about 2km from the center of town, at the top of a hill - we brought bikes that made the trip to town very easy, although a bit more challenging on the climb uphill back home :). There's so much to do in the area, we didn't even scratch the surface. Geneviève is a gracious hostess, allowed us plenty of privacy but was always there in case we needed her. I would book without hesitation - we felt the price is spot on for the value and hospitality we received. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Very envious of the view from the kitchen window and saw some fantastic sunsets from there. it looks out on the garrigue, which is good for walking. The owners house is next door, but they are very discreet. Would definitely come back again as there is so much to see in the area.

Beautiful, beautiful little house. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable. The garden is divine. Unfortunately too cool during my unusually chilly and wet May trip to use the pool. The field behind is glorious for walking, with or without a dog. Though with a dog is better obviously. Genieveve is a total sweetheart, and she and her lovely husband and beautiful little grandchildren were a pleasure to have a drink with one evening. Le petit mas is extremely private and not over looked at all. I would not have known whether the lovely neighbours were there or not. The house has its own drive, with electric gates (they will be open for your arrival, and the garden is completely enclosed, and safe for children and dogs. St Rémy is a fabulous little town, and the surrounding walks and scenery are spectacular. The area may be my new favourite place in France. The house is certainly the best I’ve stayed in. I will definitely return during the hotter months.

My mother and I spent two weeks at Petite Mas. The property location was perfect. It was close to town but on a quiet road. The house was very clean and comfortable. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and it was lovely setting by the pool. Mrs. Blanc was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

A truly wonderful rental experience, from reservation to check-in to check-out. The hosts are very gracious. They are also incredibly helpful should you have any problems with your travels. The house and grounds are impeccable, beautiful and very comfortable. The location is central to any direction you would like to travel in Provence. My husband and I and another couple stayed at Le Petit Mas in early June, and it was a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing ... or to spend the whole day relaxing and swimming in the lovely saltwater pool. Genevieve was out of town the day we arrived but arranged for her friend Christine to welcome us and show us around. Genevieve had supplied the kitchen with everything we needed for breakfast ... coffee, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice, bread ... plus a bottle of Champagne! She stopped by the next day to see if all was well (she and her husband live next door). Even though their house is close by, they were not at all intrusive. St. Remy is a short drive and a wonderful town for eating out, grocery shopping, etc., and perfectly located for exploring Arles, Pont du Gard, Rousillon, Isle Sur la Sorgue, and so many other places. The only negatives were the low beams and ceilings in the bedrooms ... everything else was perfection! The house was pristine in its décor and cleanliness ... as if everything were brand new. We highly recommend it!

We have done a number of vacation rental holidays and have always had great experiences. However, this holiday rental was by far the best we have ever had. Le Petit Mas has been carefully established as a luxurious but practical home away from home. The kitchen is perfectly kitted out, the bed linen is lovely and the house and garden have been developed to allow for an easy and relaxing holiday experience - the lawn is beautiful, the swimming pool is fantastic and the outdoor seating areas mean that, at any time of day, you can choose to be sitting comfortably in the sun or the shade. While le Petit Mas is close to the town centre, it has very rural feel given its position next to an expansive field. It really is the best of both worlds. In addition, Genevieve and Bernard are extremely gracious and thoughtful hosts. We arrived very late at night and Genevieve waited up (until 1am!) to meet us and ensure we had all we needed. She had thoughtfully provided us with the elements of an excellent breakfast as well as other essentials such as washing powder, coffee, tea etc. Our baby girl was treated like an absolute princess and we were made to feel so welcome - leaving was devastating! I could not recommend le Petit Mas and its hosts enough. It was the perfect destination for our three-generation family holiday, being well-placed for day trips to Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, the Camargue, Arles and of course St Remy itself. We are already planning our return trip.

We stayed at Le Petit Mas for 3 weeks and felt totally immersed in the Provencal lifestyle and natural beauty of Saint Remy. The unique and privileged location enabled us to reach the town center in less than 10 minutes, and yet have our back garden door opening onto endless beautiful provencal fields. With impeccable taste Mrs Blanc newly renovated the cottage, and it is without doubt the most conformable and luxurious accommodation we have stayed in many years of holidays rentals. Mr and Mrs Blanc are wonderful hosts, who could not do enough to make us feel welcome and at ease with our two young and energetic children. A little gem that we highly recommend!

Wir hatten ein paar herrliche Tage im Februar in der Provence. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Es liegt auf einem malerischen Grundstück in absoluter Ruhe, das Auto steht vor der Tür, und Saint-Rémy ist trotzdem nur einen Katzensprung entfernt (fünf Minuten bis zum großen öffentlichen kostenlosen Parkplatz im Zentrum). Wir wurden ausgesprochen nett empfangen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Das Objekt ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man so braucht. Zu jeder Tageszeit hat man draußen Sonnen- oder Schattenplätze, ganz wie man mag. Sehr ruhige Lage, gut zum Entspannen. Aber wenn man etwas Lärm macht (Kinder, Party), kann man auch niemanden stören. Nur die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß zu weit.
