About this chalet rental

Chalet Silver Fern is a newly built, architecturally designed Chalet, fitted to the highest specification and spread over 3 floors (approximately 190m2). The kitchen and large living/dining area are connected by a breakfast bar, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is sleek and modern and fitted with two ovens, an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer with integrated icemaker, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The living area has a plenty of seating with views out to the mountains, a generous dining area with a table capable of sitting 12 and a TV nook (with English and French channels). There are 5 double bedrooms which are all very spacious with extremely comfortable beds, capable of being zipped together as super kings or left separate as singles. Four of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms. The fifth bedroom is part of a family suite, with a smaller, single sixth bedroom and a bathroom, with a bath and separate shower, to share. There is a cosy TV room with a 65" TV (with French and English TV), a ski boot warmer, and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The chalet is 900m from the bottom of the Super Morzine Telecabine (in the centre of Morzine - free shuttle bus about 100m away) or 10 minutes drive (or free shuttle bus) to the Ardent lift up to Avoriaz. Access to Les Gets is available from the centre of Morzine. There is a newly installed, hot spa pool on one of the two private deck areas. There is outside parking and a double garage. Our property manager will meet you at the property and can organise lift passes and ski hire. Geneva is the closest airport 90km away and there are numerous shuttle companies operating from there who will drop off and pick up at the chalet.

We had a great experience, the property host, Gerard was an absolute legend and so helpful, perfect location for catching the M bus up to the Ardent gondola while Montriond village is just beautiful. I would recommend this chalet to anyone interested and would certainly like to return in future.

A lock box for the keys on arrival would've been sufficient, we felt bad for making the manager wait when the flights and transfers were delayed. Also we were were told off because the kids splashed in the hot tub and reduced the water levels. We would've gladly topped the water up but there was no means to do so! They need a hose pipe outside! There was a bad smell from the drains in the basement that we reported to the manager but it was there all week.

A group of friends staying for a ski weekend. Couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay, beautifully equipped and presented, very comfortable, great location within an easy walk of the center and very friendly and accommodating host and owner which really make it a fantastic weekend. Great!

A great stay

A great stay

We had a great stay in Montiond. The chalet is spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need. The teenagers loved having a separate TV room, and we all enjoyed the hot tub, and views from the balcony in the late afternoon sun. The shops of Montriond are a 5-10 minutes walk, with a small supermarket, from which you can pick up croissants and bread for breakfast in the morning, and most other necessities. The larger supermarkets are about 20min walk. We used a taxi to travel from Geneva, but given the ample space for parking, would hire a car next time. A car would also have been useful for getting the the Ardent lifts, as the buses only run every 30 mins in April. (The bus stop is only a minutes walk away.) Amanda, the chalet owner was great at getting back to me with advice re ski hire/lessons, and offered lots of helpful advice. We would definitely book again.

We have just got back from staying at this beautifully appointed chalet. It is brilliantly laid out for sharing with friends. The hot tub after being on the slopes all day is a great added bonus. Though to be honest there are so many little extras to make for a great stay!! Amanda the owner and Gerard the property care taker are superb and nothing was too much trouble. Having lift passes and ski hire organised saved a lot of queues and were much appreciated. Thank you so much and hopefully we get to return!

Beautiful, high quality, luxury accommodation. Every facility you would expect in a ski chalet ( including boot warmer). The jacuzzi was wonderfuly relaxing after a day on the slopes. The separate den downstairs appreciated by the teenagers! 10-15 min walk to lift and town. We were delighted with the chalet when we arrived. It was spacious and well equipped and we had no issues finding it or with check-in. Amanda the owner and Gerard who checked us into the property both communicated with me prior to the visit and when we arrived in resort. Gerard also sorted out our lift passes as well as arranging delivery of bread and pastries each morning. The chalet was about a 20 minute walk into Morzine which was no bother to our group of adults. We ate in most evenings of our stay and the owner recommended a couple of restaurants so we ate out one evening and the recommendation was good. We would definitely recommend this chalet to others and would very much like to visit again. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend break in Morzine.

The chalet is extremely well presented and tastefully decorated. It offers sociable living accommodation. The location is good, being handy for the bus stops to get to the Ardent lift whilst also a short stroll into Morzine. I would certainly recommend this property.

A wonderfully fresh and well fit out chalet for our family

We were a family of nine that came to the area to ski. The chalet was well situated just outside Morzine on the road to the main access area for the larger hills. A little town with groceries and ski rental was 1km away. The chalet is nearly new and extremely well fit out for rentals. We enjoyed the family spaces and lots of room for everyone. The destination manager was highly attentive to our needs and accommodated our late check out. We highly recommend.

Le chalet est magnifique et correspond bien au descriptif. Tout est parfait de l'équipement à sa localisation. La literie est de très grande qualité. Nous avons bien profité du jacuzzi qui est un plus. Petit clin d'oeil à Gérard qui nous a très bien reçu malgré le délai imparti (location faite du jour pour le lendemain). C'est une très bonne chose d'avoir quelqu'un sur place en cas de besoin. Je recommande fortement le chalet d'Amanda et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Le chalet est propre, très fonctionnel, neuf, spacieux. Les chambres, bien séparées les unes des autres et situées sur d’autres niveaux que la grande pièce de vie permettent à ceux qui veulent dormir de se reposer sans être gênés par ceux qui sont levés. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour le quotidien, laissé par les bons soins du propriétaire (sacs poubelles, ciseaux, film transparent, torchons, pastilles de lave-vaisselle, lessive etc...), propriétaire avec qui le contact est facile et rapide avant réservation pour répondre aux éventuelles questions. Seul bémol (mais qui ne concerne pas tout le monde) : les escaliers intérieurs et l’extérieur du chalet (proche de la route) ne sont pas sécurisants pour des tout petits. La vue est agréable, orientée côté soleil, de grandes baies vitrées et un grand balcon pour profiter du bon air. Avec des petits, qui dorment longtemps, nous n’avons pas pu sortir beaucoup, et cela ne nous a pas gênés car le chalet est extrêmement agréable, intérieur comme extérieur. Nous le recommandons !
