About this villa rental
In Aix-en-Provence itself, we’re offering our house on the edge of the Pinchinats neighborhood, very close to the historic city center of Aix (1.5 km), with regular bus service to the city, the TGV station, the airport, and more... It is a vacation home that is both sunny and quiet, facing south on the pool side and shaded on the north side by a beautiful cedar tree, just a few steps from an ancient wall of the stunning Pavillon de Lenfant park (17th century). A home from which you can easily access roads leading to the coast (Côte Bleue, Cassis, Calanques...) or to the Luberon mountains, or for swimming in the Verdon River, all while being just a 15-minute walk from the historic center (with its colorful markets almost every day, its old streets lined with numerous fountains, and its lively events…). This location is ideal for those who don’t want to be lost in the remote countryside but still want to relax, enjoying both nature and the charming city of Aix.

We had a fabulous week in this house. The photos don’t do it justice as it’s even better in reality and the kitchen has been recently renovated.
The pool was the highlight of the week for the kids in 37 degrees although the pool alarm was faulty and kept going off at random times when it wasn’t set!
We hadn’t realised how close the house was to its neighbours and on the week days we had noisy construction as the neighbours were having a new pool installed which wasn’t ideal for us. Plus you can hear other families using their pools etc. If you want to be isolated this isn’t the house for you.
Bus in to Aix-en-Provence was really convenient for a quick trip in to town.
Chantal was really helpful on check in and check out and was quick to answer any questions we had in the week.
The house is really well equipped as I understand it is the owner’s home for most of the year.
And I understand the mossies were particularly bad this year - we got eaten alive despite mossie spray, candles and coils!!
Was a fabulous week overall with friends and family in a beautiful part of France.

We loved our stay right outside of Aix. A great house with all the amenities and an amazing pool. Right directly in the center of Aix but so easy to walk into (20 mins) or take a direct bus with a stop in front of the house. Very calm and quiet neighborhood. Didier and Chantal were very receptive to all our questions and the house was in great shape when we arrived. We definitely recommend!

House was lovely and the owner was helpful and friendly. The first week was somewhat overshadowed by the fact that the house clearly wasn't ready for guests. The pool was cloudy and green, the sun loungers hadn't been cleaned in preparation for guests and the house was a bit dusty and required cleaning. There was an issue with the pipes becoming blocked at the start but the owner had contractors round who fixed this issue. The above was a pity as it made the first week much less enjoyable. Once all that was sorted though the house was lovely and we had a great time.
