The house was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults, 4 children) with plenty of bedrooms and space downstairs. It was very well equipped as described in the advertisement. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the night. The large garden was great for football and cricket. There was also a lovely patio with plenty of chairs and a large table, as well as an outdoor covered area with table tennis, seating area and barbeque. We all enjoyed the pool and the kids especially loved the slide. The setting was very peaceful with no neighbours within sight so the children could shout and play without disturbing anyone! Supermarket, boulangerie etc were only 5 minute drive away and the beautiful town of Aix was only 10 minutes' drive away, with all its lovely restaurants, cafes, squares and markets. There is a beautiful beach at Sainte Croix, about 30 minute drive away. Sophie and Philippe were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and they quickly dealt with any questions and issues. We had a fantastic 2 weeks and would thoroughly recommend the house and would be happy to stay there again.

We spent 3 weeks in the house of the Murat family, and we had a great time. We were 2 families, each with a 4-year old daughter, and this was close to paradise for them. Great pool and water slide, a large green garden where they could play and run, and also some shade where the could cool down during the day. Cours Mirabeau is only 10 minutes by car away, with all the great restaurants, shops and fantastic atmosphere of Aix-en-Provence. And the beaches only 20-30 minutes away by car. Philippe and Sophie Murat were great hosts, and we felt very welcome. They provided us with recommendations on where to go (places and restaurants), both in Aix-en-Provence and other villages / towns in Provence. The light and art show in "Carrieres de Lumieres" in the old limestone mines in Les Baux de Provence was certainly worth the visit, both for adults and kids. If we had any questions, or minor issues, they took care of it quickly, and made sure we had the best experience.
