8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Location and size. It was very close to all the exciting places to visit in the old town and the large lounge was fabulous for relaxing in after a day of walking. This is a very old building with large rooms and a lot of charm.
A couple of maintenance issues needed addressing - eg a loose power plug was hanging from the wall in the lounge, the fridge and freezer doors didn’t close properly and two light bulbs had failed. Also the pressure in the shower was very low. The entrance area to the building was dark and a little run down. The timber in the windows and shutters was very rotten and we were nervous about opening and closing them. Having said that, these features also had an olde world charm.

The apartment was in a fantastic location and it was spotlessly clean.
Unfortunately there was building work in the next property and the noise level was off the scale!! Also it was 77 steps up to the apartment which we weren’t warned about.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. There is a full kitchen and three mini-split air conditioners.
The toilet room could use some repairs. It looks like there has been a water leak
