Le Petit Troglo in its green setting with its balcony and its small garden facing south / west is an intimate place, calm and multiple charms.
Completely renovated with taste, this unique place, located 400 m from the entrance to the Château Royal, Clos Lucé and 900 m from Château Gaillard is ideal for recharging your batteries and taking the time to discover the heritage of the Loire Valley .

Cocooned in the hillside, this little cave was perfectly cosy and beautifully decorated. Close to everything in Amboise, and yet it felt tranquil and secluded, with everything we needed for our four night stay. The terrace and private garden were a joy to relax in, and our host Mireille was brilliant. The highlight of our trip to France

Amazing experience living in a cave. It has been decorated artistically with Leonardo De Vinci quotations and his art. The mosaic pieces are colourful and fun. This was all done by the owner who is an artist. It was definitely a labour of love!

This little troglo/cave cottage was unique but very comfortable. Just the right size for a couple. Amboise is a wonderful town and a great place to use as a base for the Loire Valley. Merielle, the owner is very nice and helpful.

Our host was gracious, welcoming and SWEET. She has created a warm and very interesting setting. It obviously took an endless amount of time to create this "nest". We had a WONDERFUL time!!

We’ll be telling everyone we stayed in a Castle. Not entirely true but close enough. This small studio style apartment is in a cave at the foot of the Castle. Excellent location. Nice and clean with a nice friendly host Mireille. Maybe a little humid but after all. It’s a cave!

Adossé à l'éperon rocheux du château d'Amboise, ce studio troglodyte est décoré avec goût; il y fait "naturellement frais" ce qui est appréciable pour un sommeil réparateur. L'emplacement est idéal à 5 minutes du centre ville, du château d'Amboise, du clos Lucé et du château Gaillard. Mireille, la propriétaire, est sympathique et à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Elle est présente tout en restant discrète.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la gentillesse de la propriétaire, à l'écoute de ses clients, en tout discrétion. Une décoration faite par elle avec beaucoup de goût et d'imagination, tout en étant très bien équipé. Un sentiment d'être à l'écart tout en étant dans le centre ville (un petit jardin adorable). L'expérience d'habiter un logement troglodyte es également agréable. Un endroit que nous conseillons fortement.

Le petit coin jardin est formidable, la chambre et appartement très bien entretenu et l hôtesse très sympathique. Seul hic, le bruit du réfrigérateur la nuit pour l endroit calme c était un peu perturbant.

Une petite escapade en amoureux totalement réussie, dans ce petit gîte troglodyte bourré de charme avec ses mosaïques et ses petites phrases qui font réfléchir au sens de la vie.. Une situation géographique parfaite !! Je le conseille vivement. Mireille est une hôte disponible et arrangeante. Bref, le genre d'endroit on l'on reviendra sûrement.. Virginie B
