Casa delle lucertole has restored "Casa Colonica" (farmhouse), is set in a single hill top position in the untouched Le Marche Region. Changing light and sky THROUGHOUT the day Granted stunning views over valleys and hills. Its 4 hectares private land insures a amazing peaceful environment while the 15m long pool allows a real Good and relaxing swim. In according with this true natural atmosphere, the renovation of the house has-been the carried out in order to Maintain the walls of the old "casa colonica" and to assurer a comfortable stay for 2 families (11 people, 5 bedrooms).
Ground Floor ("permanent old"): Open wide fully equipped modern kitchen, dining area and a seating area equipped with Hi-Fi. An independent twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (large shower + toilet).
First Floor: a double-bedrooms with en suite bathroom (shower + bathroom + WC) and a large dressing room, a large double bedrooms with en suite closet (toilet and sink), a small children's room with 3 beds (2 bunk beds) Reviews another children's room with 2 beds, an independent WC and a bathroom.
Mezzanine: Cosy TV area
Nature lovers Will Be impressed by outstanding beauty of the Sibillini mountains nearby (1h1 / 2 drive), Many trails Within 10/20 min drive or pilgim the ancient route to Assisi passing through the hamlet Itself. Art lovers Could go to famous places like Urbino, Perugia, Assisis Within 2hours drive, goal Will certainly discover the medieval town of Cingoli, Known as the 'Balcony of the Marches' or the town of San Severino Known as 'City of Art' ( Both 10 mins drive) ... and many more (Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Loretto). Music lovers can plan delightful evening at the openair opera of Macerata. Food lovers Will enjoy great local osterias with wine at very good prices. We had such a wonderful time at this unbelievably beautiful house and area. We sure hope, we get the chance to come back some day.
Bertrand, the landlord, and Alessandro, who is taking care on site, are very friendly and always willing to help.
We highly recommend this house.

We had a nice family vacation in a charming house on a hill in de San Severino Mountains with spectacular views over the surroundings (from the terrace as well as the pool). The house is well located, the communication with Bertrand and Allessandro went fine, the kitchen is reasonably equipped, the beds were good etc. The pool was big and well kept, the kids had a lot of fun swimming and playing in it.

The owner Bertrand and the care takers were very prompt, friendly and also discreet.
The Casa delle lucertole is a simple, carefully renovated country house with a large swimming pool and a beautiful view.
The house is perfect for one family or 6 to 7 people but I wouldn't recomend it for 11, as it is listed. One children's room wit a loft bed and an additional bed is quite small. The living are is quite small for 11 people but it leads through nice double doors to the spacious terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view.
It would be practical if there was storing space for our clothing (the wald in wardrobe is but used as such).
There is a second double room with a separate entrance and an en suite bathroom, however being on the ground floor it is quite damp and smelling the accordingly.
The house unfortunately needs a thorough cleaning. It is often dusty and sticky.
The kitchen is nice well equipped and with all the appliances you need to cook. There is also a nice barbecue outside.
The terrace has a view to die for over the hills of Marche. It overlooks the pool but you can not see your children if they want to use the pool by themselves.
A very nice big 15m pool (the largest we ever had on out trips to Italy) with a very useful pergola to keep shade on hot days and plenty of sunbeds.
The house is 20 Minutes away from San Severino de Marche a beautiful medieval town with a great piazza. This is also the closest possibility to make grocery shopping.
All in all we had a nice time and think that with a little extra care, the house can offer a place for a very nice time to remember.
