ideal for visiting bayeux, the landing beaches, caen and bas-norman heritage. 1 hour from Honfleur, 1 hour from Cherbourg, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Mont-St-Michel.
A deposit is required, not exceeding 50% of the amount of a week's rental; payable locally on arrival, cash or French check.

We have a lovely week in Normandy. The property is very nice, well equipped and comfortable and in a quiet location. Florence and her husband are fantastic hosts. We especially enjoyed the bread and croissant delivery in the morning! My thanks.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this property with the lovely owners on hand to provide a bakery order every morning and help with places to visit. The property was clean and well equipped which was great because we didn’t always eat out. The gite is in a great location for visiting WW2 museums, cemeteries and beaches and there are plenty of other things to do besides. We would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay in this very spacious, clean and well-decorated home including a private patio and a fireplace in the living room. It was perfect for two couples or singles with separate bedrooms and a good kitchen. We enjoyed the solitude and quiet of the location in the country and a good location to explore Normandy by car which is necessary. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and we recommend this to others.

We stayed at this wonderful Gite for one week in mid June and it was a delightful experience. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and our hosts wer the most charming of people. The Gite is well situated for visits to all the local attractions with Bayeux and Molly Littry just a short drive away. The peace and quiet was amazing, a real 'get away from it all' experience.

This newly renovated cattle barn was fabulous! There were 2 bathrooms; one on the lower level and a beautiful tiled shower upstairs. 2 bedrooms upstairs with very comfortable beds. Kitchen very modern with stove/oven, fridge, microwave, and new washing machine. Nice kitchen table and cozy fireplace. Wood was also available to use in the fireplace. Nice private dining outside with flowers. Also could play on a bocce court, playground for children and friendly cows in the nearby field. Great location and close to Normandy beaches, a supermarket, nearby villages to dine out. The caretakers, Florence and Dominique were exceptional. If you wanted fresh bread or bakery items daily, he would have them for you by 8:00 each morning. Florence was very helpful with information and where to dine out and places to see.

Ce gîte est très bien situé près des plages du Débarquement. Bien équipé, joliment décoré, il est très confortable pour 4 personnes. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité des propriétaires. La terrasse et le grand jardin sont également très agréables. Nous le recommandons sans aucune hésitation.

De woning is heel sfeervol ingericht. Het onderhoud is uitstekend. De schoonmaak is prima. De keuken is volledig ingericht. Het ontbrak ons in de woning aan niets. Een zonnige en rustig gelegen tuin en voor de kinderen een heel groot speelveld met kleine doeltjes. Voor de allerkleinsten is er nog een glijbaantje en wip. Met de auto binnen 7 minuten bij een grote supermarkt, binnen 10 minuten bij de snelweg en Bayeux. De verhuurders Dominique en Florence zijn zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We kunnen de woning aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est très agréable à vivre, bien arrangée et bien équipée notamment pour les petits. La maison donne sur une terrasse puis sur une grande étendue d'herbe. Quant à la région, elle est vraiment charmante : bocage, belles fermes, châteaux et manoirs au bout de chaque sentier. Les plages du débarquement et Bayeux sont à 2 pas.
