This former farmhouse located in the heart of Albères, foothills of the eastern Pyrenees, is the welcoming and restful refuge of your stay; Close idu GR10, you will allow yourself to enjoy the benefits of peace and nature, and find a warm holiday whatever the season, after a day of hiking.
The "mas Iapetus" is one of the oldest farmhouse of the village of St Jean Albère; we gradually restore, trying to best preserve its authenticity, while providing the elements of modern comfort and environmentally conscious. Surrounded by meadows and wood on 3 hectares and bordered by two streams, it will make you rediscover the pleasures of nature.
With a total area of 82 m², the cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, a large living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with bread oven functional origin, a bathroom with sink and shower, and separate wc. Powered by a low-energy boiler gas heaters equip the entire house, giving it a very considerable comfort in cold weather.
Sleeps: A double bedroom + bedroom with bunk beds (couple with 2 children).
Additional possibilities: Double sofa in living room + covertible cots.

Cet endroit est idéal pour déconnecter ! Le gîte est très bien équipé, on n'a manqué de rien (il y a même une armoire remplie de jeux, de quoi occuper les enfants - et les grands - aussi bien en intérieur qu'en extérieur !)
Le cadre est assez exceptionnel, avec des vues magnifiques sur les Pyrénées à quelques minutes du gîte.
Antoine nous a très bien accueilli et conseillé sur les endroits à découvrir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte très propre, très bien équipé (notamment au niveau de la cuisine) et dans un environnement très ressourçant. Grâce aux conseils d'Antoine, nous avons pu découvrir les beaux sites de cette région et réaliser de belles randonnées. Nous remercions encore Antoine pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Nous reviendrons au Mas Japet des que nous pourrons. Sylvie et Marc.

En pleine nature, magnifique gîte, très calme, confortable et joliment décoré. Le propriétaire y est très accueillant et disponible et cela a été un vrai plaisir d'échanger avec lui sur la région.
Les équipements y sont complets et nombreux.
Nous avons tous appréciés le moment passé au gite qui nous a permis à tous de faire une vrai déconnexion.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir au Mas Japet
