charming villa, on the edge of the garrigue, in Saint Cômes: 12 km west of Nîmes

Although the property was in lovely surroundings it was a shame the internal parts of the property let it down. The man next door who welcomed us to the property was very helpful and did his best. In the two weeks we stayed we were not offered any clean linen or towels, considering it was 35 degrees everyday. The property was not the cleanest we have stayed. I got the feeling that the owner had just got up and walked out the door leaving half open bottle wine in the fridge, opened bottle of water, I have no idea how long it had been there. It's not the worst place we have stayed in but it's certainly in the bottom half. The outdoor pool although was a welcome relief during the hot weather having a tree overhanging one end the pool it was a constant battle keeping it clean. Although we cleaned the property as best as we could when we left I'm well aware that no cleaner was coming in before the next guests were arriving later that day. We were also asked to strip the beds and put them in the washing machine as we were leaving.
