Lived for a week at Gerads place in the Valley of Wine. Great place in the Woods and a very Nice pool near by. The House was less than spotless but all in all amazing experience. The place is located at the small eco champagne vinery Ruppert-Leroy. A visit at the vinery is a must. Best champagne ever. And We have had a few!!!!

On a vraiment adoré le séjour dans ce lieu si paisible et reposant. Les propriétaires sont adorables et très chaleureux. C'était un plaisir de discuter avec eux de leur expérience. Le chalet est plus que confortable et cocon. Vue magnifique et beaucoup d'opportunités de promenade dans les environs. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad tijdens ons verblijf in augustus 2019. We konden volop gebruik maken van het zwembad. Waar iedereen die boekt wel rekening mee moet houden is dat de blokhut in een hele rustige en stille regio ligt. Er is in de directe omgeving niet veel te doen. Als je naar een meer wilt om te zwemmen of naar een wat grotere stad dan ben je flink wat reistijd kwijt. Dit hoeft geen probleem te zijn, maar je moet er wel rekening mee houden.

Ons verblijf was heerlijk. Het huisje heeft een prachtige ligging en het is heerlijk om de kachel op te stoken en lekker rond het vuur te zitten. De eenvoud van het huisje sprak ons aan en het was er netjes en schoon. Wat echter minder fijn is, is dat de vaatwasser het niet (goed) doet. Verder is het goed om te weten dat er geen wifi is. Voor ons doorgaans geen groot probleem en misschien ook wel fijn, maar nogmaals handig om te weten, voordat je boekt. Naast de prima bank zouden wij het fijne hebben gevonden als er nog twee fauteuils waren geweest, zodat we allemaal relaxed konden zitten. M.a.w. de basis is fijn en goed, maar iets meer comfort zou ik verwachten voor deze prijs.

Paar dagen heerlijk verbleven in deze blokhut. Op een prachtige lokatie, met uitzicht over het dal, een paar wijngaarden vlak eronder. Leuk ook dat de boerderij gelijk ernaast ligt, dus vaak bij de dieren kijken en eitjes rapen. Ook heerlijk wat biodynamische champagne geproefd bij de gastheer op einde van een leuke uitleg. Jammer dat het de hele week regende, maar daardoor lekker lang in het huisje zelf gebleven. Komen vast een keer terug in de lente of zomer. Friso en Kristel en de kids, Nederland.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans ce chalet chaleureux et bien équipé. Quel bonheur pour nous de profiter du calme et du charme de cette propriété où notre fille a pu vivre des moments magiques au contact des animaux de la ferme. La piscine est parfaite, le village très agréable. Quant au propriétaire des lieux, nous ne pouvons qu'apprecier sa discrétion et sa disponibilité. Nous recommandons vivement et nous reviendrons.
