Very friendly welcome at the house, which is very tastefully and with care decorated. Great modern bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious livingroom. Compliments for the owners of the house! Nice garden with blue, purple and pink hydrangea, view over cornfield and country. Location is beautiful, quiet, near several beaches, hiking trails and small villages and old towns. We had a great time!

The house is beautifully decorated to a very high standard; obviously a lot of money has been spent on the furniture and decoration. The bed we used was extremely comfortable, and the quality of the bathroom fittings is excellent. The garden is attractive, with views over a cornfield to the distance, and not overlooked. For guests with animals or children, a point to note is that there is a laburnum tree next to the patio, which carries poisonous seeds; also the garden is not secure for dogs, with open access to a fairly busy road at the front. The only niggles with the house itself would be that if there were six people staying (the house has three double bedrooms) they might find there are not enough cups and mugs, or everyday wine glasses. Also, if there is sufficient demand for it from English-speaking guests, the host could add some English language channels to the TV / satellite, as the TV is currently set up to receive French and German TV only. Plomodiern is a very attractive village (market day Friday) with a cafe, salon de the, and restaurants. Be aware that in late June (when we travelled) many French businesses are closed while the owners take their own holidays ahead of the main tourist season. I must give a special mention to "le Cenote" restaurant which offers fine dining, beautifully presented, allows dogs, and is very good value for money. The location as a whole is excellent for exploring the Crozon peninsula, north west Finisterre , and south.

We were delighted with the house. It is very well situated, in easy reach of beaches and so many interesting sights. The town is a short drive away and we shopped and ate there. The house is spacious, very well appointed and equipped and absolutely sparklingly clean. There was nothing more we could have wished for. There is ample parking and the pleasant gardens are quiet and private. Mme Mahe made us welcome with a short explanatory tour and left her contact details. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nous avons resté une semaine avec nos trois enfants dans cette jolie maison. Il y a beaucoup d'espace à l'interieur et aussi au terrasse et dans le jardin. Les enfants aiment jouer dans le jardin. Dans la cuisine et salle de bains il y a vraiment tout ce qu'on a besoin. Les plages sont proches. Yvonne est très sympa et aimable. Peut-être qu'on va revenir!

Die sehr spezielle Art der Vermieterin war gewöhnungsbedürftig.Die Frage nach ihrer Adresse wurde ablehnend beantwortet.Schade meine Adresse weiß sie doch auch.Da in den 2 Toiletten nur noch 1/4 Toilettenpapier war mailte ich ihr und fragte ob es eine Papierreserve gibt.Die lapidare Antwort es gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang. Die beiden Toiletten haben kein Fenster oder Belüftung. Duschen kann man nur im sitzen da keine Duschwand vorhanden ist.Das ist für ältere etwas kompliziert. Die Terrasse hat mehrere Löcher im Boden. Da das Grundstück nicht eingezäunt ist und an einer viel befahrenden Straße liegt besteht große Unfallgefahr da es auch keinen Bürgersteig gibt und man beim verlassen der Auffahrt man sofort auf der Straße ist.Die Lärmbelästigung durch schnell vorbeifahrende Autos bis spät abends ist sehr störend. Positiv ist zubemerken die Wohnung ist groß und sehr geräumig sowie sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet es sind alle Dinge vorhanden die man zu täglichen Leben braucht.

Ein geschmackvolles Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Toller großzügiger Garten mit großer Terrasse. Wir konnten dort mehrmals grillen. Es gibt im Hauptort Plomodiern alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und es ist ein kurzer Weg zum Meer mit verschiedenen Stränden. Man kann tolle Ausflüge zur nahegelegenen Halbinsel Crozon unternehmen. Fazit: Wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Das Haus liegt zwar an einer Straße, die recht viel befahren wird. Aber der Garten liegt nach hinten und wir haben uns in dem Haus sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht, das Wohn- und Esszimmer sorgt auch an kühleren Abenden für gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und nachsichtig mit unseren dürftigen Kenntnissen der Landessprache. Die Lage in Strandnähe und ein Fischhändler im Ort sind einfach super! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Belle maison le seul hic route très passante et voiture tard dans la nuit et qui roule à une vitesse assez élevée sur une chaussée de mauvaise qualité donc beaucoup de bruit et ayant mal lu l annonce pas entourée cela pose problème pour la sortie de la chienne malgré un joli jardin

Zwei wunderschöne Sommerwochen haben wir in diesem komfortablen Ferienhaus verbracht. Groß, gemütlich und ausreichend ausgestattet mit einem schön gestalteten Garten. Das Terassenmobiliar gestattete sogar den Besuch einer weiteren Familie, mit der wir einen wundervollen Grillabend verbrachten. Unsere mitgebrachten Fahrräder konnten wir in der ebenfalls vorhandenen Garage unterstellen. Madame Mahe erwartete uns zur vereinbarten Ankunft sehr gut vorbereitet. Da wir kein Französisch sprechen, wurden alle notwendigen Informationen über die Übersetzungs-App mit Sprachausgabe mitgeteilt. Ebenso konnten wir unsere Fragen stellen. Auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld des Urlaubes erfolgte unkompliziert. Wir haben uns bestens von Madame Mahe betreut gefühlt und würden jederzeit gern wiederkommen. Nicht nur die schönsten Strände sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, sondern auch alle notwendigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Viele schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto relativ schnell zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Familienurlaub.

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr groß und bietet viel Platz. Alles ist in gutem Zustand gewesen und wir haben uns als Familie (5 Pers.) sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit dem PKW ist man in 5 Minuten an einem herrlichen Strand mit weißem Sand und sauberem Wasser. Direkt dort ist auch ein super Restaurant (Le Grand Bleu). In der anderen Richtung liegt Plomodiern, wo eine Boulangerie, ein Poissonier, ein Intermarche u.v.m. gut erreichbar ist. Die Lage ist ansonsten ruhig und man ist durch die hohen Hecken für sich (wenn man das will). Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, zuverlässig und korrekt. An Aussstattung ist auch alles notwendige da, bis auf Kleinigkeiten (z. B. nur ein klassischer Kochlöffel) in der Küche. Die Technik funktionierte einwandfrei; allerdings hat der Kühlschrank kein Gefrierfach. Der Garten ist auch sehr groß und die Terasse sehr schön. Außerdem kann man dort Kaninchen und Fledermäuse (eine hatte sich sogar in die Waschküche verirrt) beobachten. Das Gurren der vielen Türkentauben komplettiert die Naturromantik. Es ist natürlich kein Neubau und entsprechend wird es in den Schlafzimmern unter dem Dach bei schönem Sommerwetter ziemlich warm. Leichte Bettdecken sollte man daher im Sommer besser noch mitbringen. Die Betten an sich sind aber sehr bequem mit wirklich guten Matratzen!! Bei 1,40m Breite für ein Doppelbett kommt man sich allerdings oft nahe - wer das also nicht mag ... . Wir können die Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen auch gerne selbst wieder.

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem großen, stilvoll eingerichteten Haus in Plomodiern verbracht. Mme Mahe hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt - alles verlief reibungslos. Zu dritt hatten wir mehr als genug Platz und haben besonders die gut ausgestattete Küche und die bequemen Gartenmöbel genutzt. Durch die große Terrasse und den ebenso großen Garten findet man immer ein schönes sonniges oder schattiges Plätzchen draußen, aber auch innen bietet die Wohnküche und das große Wohn-/Esszimmer bequeme Ecken. Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Auch die Lage hat uns sehr zugesagt: Das Haus liegt ruhig zwischen zwei Ortsteilen von Plomodieren (die Nachbarn links und rechts haben wir nie gehört), rundum die typischen Weizenfelder und zum sympathischen Ortskern mit Bäckerei, großem Intermarché und Wochenmarkt sind es mit dem Auto weniger als 5 Minuten. Mehrere wunderschöne Strände sind in umgekehrter Richtung ebenfalls in 5 Minuten erreichbar - herrliche Wellen, endlose Sandstrände mit toller Felsenkulisse. Dem Restauranttipp "L´Oasis" möchten wir uns anschließen - super Meeresfrüchteplatte, tolle Fischküche. Auch "Les Dunes" am Strand von St. Anne La Pallut können wir empfehlen. Außerdem ist das Haus ein guter Startpunkt für zahlreiche wunderschöne Orte in der Umgebung wie den Menez Hom, die Halbinsel Crozon, Locronan und vieles mehr. Wir beneiden alle künftigen Besucher von Mme Mahe und werden bestimmt auch selbst wiederkommen!

Ideal location near several beaches (sand or stone), a village with a supermarket that is opened on Sunday morning, a fresh bakery, an antiques shop, a pharmacy and a pancake house 'Crêperie les Genets' owned by French and British people. The house is very nicely decorated, especially the rooms upstairs (fresh paint and wallpaper). The beds are good but small (140 cm) but for a holiday it is okay. The bath suite is outdated and lacks a shower (there is only a handshower in the tub). In the garage there is a wash machine and a dryer that both function very well, so you can wash your towels and clothes every day. The lovely kitchen is fully equipped (dish washer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, ...) The living room is nice with a leather couch and some cute French seats but it is cold and a little damp, so in the evenings we had to heat it with the electric heating, even in summer. There are only French programmes on the satellite tv but we didn't miss anything, there are plenty of other things to do. The garden and terrace are heavenly. The neighbours are quiet people that you can't see from the house nor the garden. We would recommend this house for a summer holiday, not so much for a winter holiday. Places we visited: the small town Quimper, Huelgoat, Pointe du Raz, Roscoff (in the north). Make sure you take a boat trip (20 min) to île-de-Batz from there, it is dream! On this island is also a stunning exotic garden from the 1900's.
