About this house rental

Modern house with sea views overlooking Douarnenez Bay, at the foot of the large Pentrez beach. It comprises three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom (shower or bathtub), three toilets (one separate), and a large living room with a veranda and terrace overlooking the sea. Ideally located for peace, relaxation, sports, and sightseeing. The beach is supervised from July 1st to August 31st. A market is held every Monday morning. Situated on the GR34 hiking trail, the house's location is ideal for water sports and outdoor activities (sailing, surfing, kayaking, land sailing, climbing, archery, hiking, and mountain biking). Festivals, Breton dance parties (fest-noz), living museums, and exhibitions will make your stay rich and unforgettable. Cleaning fees (€80 + €20 if you have a pet) and linen rental (€25 per bedroom) are not included in the rental price.

There was a problem with the linen and towels as the English site said there were included but when the french contract arrived it said there was a fee per room. This has now been rectified. The website doesn’t make it clear that the fourth bedroom is completely separate. You have to go outside and down a steep slippery slope to access it. It’s partly underground and smelt damp and musty. It’s a shame there wasn’t a connecting staircase from within the main body off the house. The main house itself is lovely and very well equipped.
