Superb "monte" in the quiet hilly countryside of the Alentejo, near the small town of Grândola, 30 minutes from the largest and most desired beaches in Portugal.
Perfect for relaxing holidays with family or a group of friends.
("Monte" = name for an isolated country house in the Alentejo region, usually surrounded by its own farm and forest).
There are many beautiful neighboring beaches to choose from - like Melides or Comporta. The house is 30 minutes from the largest beach extension in Europe!

- Taberna dos Mosqueirões - for shopping and basic meals - 1 km
- Sobreiras Alentejo Country Hotel - Boutique hotel - 3 km
- The nearest town is Grândola at 12 km where you have large supermarkets and excellent restaurants
You need a car because it's a secluded place, but it's beautiful and perfect for a quiet family vacation.

We had great stay and hardly left the house. The pool was perfect and the kitchen well equipped. Our kids loved the top floor where they could sleep, play and watch tv.

A casa e a propriedade são ótimas! Tranquilidade acima de tudo, ou seja, o que esperávamos de umas férias!
Pontos desfavoráveis: nula ou muito fraca manutenção do espaço - deck da piscina em mau estado (alguns de nós enfiaram falhas de madeira nos pés), panos da piscina completamente rasgados e esburacados (melhor seria não existirem de todo!), espreguiçadeiras em mau estado e colchões rasgados (2 dos 4 poufs da piscina com 2 buracos por onde saía esferovite e que nós tentámos arranjar com fita cola), mato à volta da casa em muito mau estado e nada tratado (perigosíssimo se surgisse algum incêndio), ausência de alguns manípulos nas correntes dos autoclismos, móveis em mau estado e nada limpos, várias teias de aranha debaixo dos móveis e muito pó, desarrumação completa nos armários da cozinha e muita sujidade nas prateleiras, poucos copos e nenhum igual ao outro e alguns partidos, das 5 cadeiras do alpendre apenas conseguimos utilizar 1, dado que todas estão a cair! Em conclusão: o atrás exposto não conseguiu estragar as férias... se voltaremos? Isso muito provavelmente, não! Quanto ao preço? Propriedade sobrevalorizada para aquilo que encontrámos... com preços destes a casa deveria estar com outras condições.
Uma pena...!
