About this apartment rental
Close to beach and town center (10 min walk), I rent a 56sqm apartment with a large sun terrace, quiet, in a small residence. A parking space is reserved for you there. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with shower, a closet in the entrance and two independent rooms. For your comfort, you will find a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Lunch may be very pleasantly on the terrace to barbecue, play. Ideal for a family with 3 children, but because of the stairs, it is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Nearby, you may as well hiking on the path of the cliffs that leads you from beach to beach in the mountains, swim in the small coves or visit the Catalan villages (Collioure is 10 km), Spain, .. .

We spent a week here in late June/early July. The host was easy to communicate with, and the property had everything we needed. We didn’t have a car, and appreciated being able to walk to shops and amenities, the railway station, the town’s beaches, and for longer hikes to local peaks and along the coastal path. The twice-weekly market was just a couple of minutes away. Despite being so near the town centre and beach, the terrace was very quiet in the evenings and at night, being elevated and with spectacular views of the mountains. The host was very kind to provide us with bed linen this time, but if you are traveling light (e.g. not by car) you may want to ask if sheets and towels are provided before booking or be prepared to bring your own (this is the case with other properties on Vrbo too). Access to the property is down several flights of stairs, and getting to the town centre also requires ascending/descending stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Overall, the property was clean and well equipped, and we were able to comfortably settle in for a week of exploring the local area and relaxing at this ‘home from home’.
