About this house rental
Real Sardinian house restored and located in a small, very quiet hamlet on a hillside a few minutes from the bustling center of San Teodoro and a few minutes from the magnificent beaches. The house is composed of 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a large panoramic terrace with private pool and solarium, a covered veranda as well as 2 other panoramic terraces on the hills. Barbecue available and private, shaded parking for the car.
One of the most famous beaches of Sardinia "La Cinta" is less than three kilometers away.
Barely further on, other superb beaches are easily accessible (Cala Brandichi, Lu Impostu, Coda Cavallo, Puntaldia, ...). Located 15 km from Olbia airport, excellent base for visiting the Nuoro mountains and the whole famous Costa Smeralda (Porto Rontondo, Porto Cervo ...).
From Palau, 40 minutes by car, you can take the boat to visit the magnificent archipelago of La Maddalena and why not take a short visit to Corsica, the neighboring island.
A little further, the superb city with Hispanic accents Alghero is only 1.5 hours away.
In short, a lot to discover in the surroundings for lovers of the sea and nature.

Great location to be out of the thick of things, its really nice and quiet. It’s a 5 min drive or 35 minutes by foot into San Teodora. The beautiful beaches of La Cinta and Lu Impostu (our favourite) are about 10-15 mins by car. The villa is very clean, with plenty of room, nice pool, it was perfect for us (couple). Massimo who looks after the place is lovely and so helpful, a real pleasure to deal with.

We had a great time in this house and enjoyed our stay very much! Good communication with the hosts and well-organized check-in process. The house is very spacious and was well equipped and clean. The pool and the terrace are great and the pool was very regularly cleaned.
It should be made more clear in the description that 2 beds are in a kind of separate appartment within the house. This was great for us (2 families) but might be confusing for one family travelling with 3 or 4 kids. The view towards the sea is amazing, but you definitely need a car or at least bikes when you want to stay at this house. I can recommend this house!

We really enjoyed our time at Casa Carolentina. There are lovely views front the terrace. The pool was a must for us as the kids can really enjoy it on the afternoon. Check in with Massimo was easy and he was always able to answer a question when we had one.
It's a fair walk into San Teodoro but we knew that before we booked plus we had a car when needed.
WiFi and Aircon were great. The third bedroom out the back is almost a self contained unit on its own, which was a nice surprise.
All in all a really nice stay and a good base to explore the area. Thanks.

This is a very well presented house with three good sized bedrooms and a lovely pool. The area is very peaceful at night and it's a short drive to the town centre and beaches. Thank you Jean-Christophe and family.
