Just ski down, walk across the street and you’re home! Plus, you’re just one block from Main Street Breckenridge and a short shuttle ride to the gondola or the Peak 9 base. River Mountain Lodge Colorado Trail Condo is a comfortable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom deluxe condo with room for up to four guests. All the comforts of home are here, including a full kitchen with updated appliances and granite counters, a full bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or après-ski snack.
You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, and an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

The host was wonderful, we felt like we were at home. We stayed 5 days. The location is central to everything in Breckenridge, and we would definitely rent from them again!

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
First, the good: The location was outstanding - 1/2 block from Main St. and Ski Hill Rd., the heart of town. This one-bedroom unit has a king-size bed (a prerequisite for us) in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit also has a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The unit backs onto, and is on the same level as, a common area deck with an outdoor gas fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool, and propane barbecue grills.
We reserved the unit for two weeks. When we arrived, all four of the unit's windows and its sliding glass door had been left unlocked. We soon noted that the sliding glass door's lock and the light above the oven/range were not functional. A few days after check-in we reported both issues in-person to the property management company - Summit Mountain Rentals. At check-out, neither issue had been addressed.
The bed's memory foam mattress, like some lower-priced models, retains body heat, making sleep uncomfortably hot even with one light blanket, the heat off, the windows open at night, and the outdoor temperature in the 40s.
The only other issue was the toilet. Having travelled much of the world, I have never before encountered one so low to the floor. The top of the toilet seat was approximately 13" from the floor. It literally appeared to have been designed for little people.
If noise is an issue, you might want to look for a unit in a part of the building that doesn't back onto the deck, which is located between the property's two buildings.
