Beds were VERY uncomfortable. the mattresses were old, horrible sleeping experience, painful even. you could feel each individual spring poking at your back. Heating system was weird i would turn off after a couple of hours after pressing the button and you had to press it again.

The apartment had everything that i needed and was spacious, comfortable and easy to find.

The layout of the apartment was great and the amenities in the area were great in terms of food, drink, transportation.

The area is a bit noisy at night and there was some noise from the apartment next door late at night.

Lovely flat close to town

Large living space, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Towels and toiletries provided. Nicely decorated. Location is good, short distance from town.

It was chilly on arrival, but heating is effective. No wine glasses. The amount of personal ID info required felt a little uncomfortable (photo of drivers licence, selfie etc).

A well equipped aparthotel.

The hotel is easy to find and well located near bus stops, with a small ASDA supermarket a few minutes walk away, and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and it was easy to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level using the heaters in both the living room area and bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking - a good size fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, microwave, hob and over, with cookware and crockery, as well as cleaning supplies provided. The bathroom was compact, but clean and had everything needed. I found the room to be quiet and was not disturbed whilst sleeping, although there was heavy machinery being operated on the next door lot both mornings, that was rather out of the hotel's control!

I found the bed to be very firm and composed of two single beds pushed together; it would have benefitted from a mattress pad or at least a cover to both soften the mattress and conceal the seam between the two beds. I was surprised to see the sheet simply on top of the bare mattress, without any additional protection.

A cosy modern apartment, great for a city break.

Great location, 10mins away from the centre. Had no problem parking off street. The apartment was clean, modern, with a full kitchen and nice bathroom.

Our apartment was located at the very top of the property, we only had overnight luggage so it wasn’t a problem but anything bigger would have been a struggle.

Great value for money, Shame about the bed.

Everything we needed was in the apartment and was clean and ready to use.

The bed was seriously uncomfortable was expecting a double bed not two singles pushed together. Could feel the edges of the two single frames through down the center of t he mattresses.

Excellent modern apartment, great base for exploring Newcastle

The facilities were excellent, cooker etc provided (though our stay was short we didn’t use it). Excellent spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Easy access via lockbox.

Absolutely nothing bad to say. It’s a bit of a walk to the centre but we expected it for the price.

Intimidating and frightening as a women

We were verbally abused by another resident before we even checked in so much so that we felt scared to stop at the apartment. We left the apartment without checking in and found alternative accommodation. If it wasn’t for this person I’m not sure 3 women would have felt safe to stay as the apartment seemed that evening to be full of 20ish aged men who were carrying in crates of beer. It’s wasn’t was very female friendly place.

Location excellent for hospital appointment in building across the road and access to places to eat out. Stylish contemporary decor, comfortable bed Good value for money and very convenient.

Only one mug! Rather too much grey but recognise it is of the moment . Amount of personal data required by the property left me feeling vulnerable. Some parking spaces rather narrow

Hugely convenient stop over in newcastle

Plenty of room for 2 people. A generous kitchen and bathroom. Everything worked. Parking was right outside and despite quite a fussy, long winded check in process, it all worked well.

Property was easy to find, not far from city centre and was easy to check in. The night porter John was amazing, topped us up with some milk for our coffees and was always happy to have a good chat and let us in and out while the front door was locked. John deserves a pay rise!! 10/10

Ideal location, perfect formed apart from bathroom.

It was in an ideal location. Close to shops & local transport. It was cozy. Clean & perfectly formed. Loved the original staircase & the layout ensured the space was accommodated to fit private kitchen, living room, bedroom & bathroom.

The bathroom sink could be bigger. There is space for it. It was difficult to wash face & brush teeth as sink was tiny. Also the wet room aspect was not great as water went everywhere when showering with no way of brushing it down. Had to use towel to mop up water. Maybe a small enclosed shower be better or long handled squeegee supplied. Also drain did have a smell so could do with a thorough clean. No lift to get to top floor so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

The room and bed are spacious enough for two people, clean, and well-equipped with various amenities. The self check-in and check-out process is straightforward, even without on-site staff. Free parking is available. The location is good and very close to a bus stop with easy access to taxis.

Quiet location an easy 20 minute downhill walk to City Centre. Great bus service available. We got Uber home each night around £5.

Great stay, great location and value for money.

Great value for money, not far from Newcastle centre. Modern look with great facilities, we were up for our daughter’s graduation and stayed 2 nights. Straight forward check in and great communication from Bentinck Apartments made things very easy. Great shower by the way.

Just a couple of small things, no shampoo or shower gel in the bottles in the shower. Mattress was too firm, no give in it at all.

Clean but uncomfortable beds and poor communication

Apartment was recently renovated, very clean and had parking spots.

I don't usually say anything negative on reviews, but the small details added up to affect our stay and mean we wouldn't recommend or come back. The keys were really stiff and difficult in the locks, the door stop was broken, the beds are very firm spring beds and therefore very uncomfortable. Communication was poor - I messaged multiple times in advance (and rang and left a voicemail) to request a travel cot. This was only responded to on the morning of our first day. It was left, unmade, in one bedroom. I have made many travel cots before and this one just wasn't being put up easily by any of us staying. We rang to ask if it was broken and the man said there was a particular way to put up this one, we still couldn't do it. Whilst someone came a few hours later to put it up (in the specific way that this one needed to because it was part broken) it could have easily been done in advance and avoided all the faff. All these small things just added to us not enjoying the stay as much as we should have done.
