Best stay for cheap price

This property amazes you as soon as you walk through them doors amazing price very clean the reception staff was amazing and very helpful tv was amazing bathroom was nice and clean everything was good and amazing customer service !!

Only good thing about this place is the location in terms of being reasonably central and parking

** a member of staff stayed here and had to check out next day as didn’t feel safe / sent us a video of a kicked in door / advised the place was stinking of marijuana generally / advised large number of clientele use the place are highly intoxicated / when we called to request partial refund after having to check out the member of staff seemed to be in a state of denial, saying our staff member was making all this up and was only concerned at “not having a kitchen” which was irrelevant to the other points raised; despite most of these issues being clear on shared photos and videos..

Absolutely shocking place

Nothing !! Was filthy , broken and unsafe. We didn't stay. The room was in a shocking state of disrepair. Asked to be moved to which we were the next room wasn't much better but didn't feel safe at all . We left asking for a refund and was promised it would be transferred this morning.as of yet nothing .. I got an email saying its been paid but certainly hasn't as of yet. Phoned and emailed but still nothing.

A place to hang your hat in a lively area.

The location was good for our travel purposes and there was plenty of places to eat.

It was quite rundown. The carpet was dirty. Things had fallen off some of the door furniture.

Pathetic, dismal and highly regrettably-lugubrious.

The heaters were not switched on, room was cold, noisy environment. We spent four nights in the apartment and the room was not cleaned at all, despite that we went out for hours on 3 different days. We used the same bedspread and cover for four nights, we had to go and ask the receptionist for toilet paper and fresh towels on day two, after which no towels was brought till we left. Bins was not taken out also. The toilet brushing stick looks like it has been in use for 10 years.

It was close to where we needed to be for that night

It wasn’t clean there was dryer curry on tv remote the carpet was threadbesr in places the bed base was ripped the shower was hanging off the wall doors were chipped wallpaper torn and it smelt foisted not a good experience

Would definitely stay again!

Very pleasant stay overall. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was comfortable, quiet, and well equipped, with a good bed and reliable heating. The location made it easy to reach the city centre, and Wi-Fi coverage was strong across the building.

Minor issues: the shower water was a bit too hot, and there were a few internet connection hiccups, but these were resolved quickly by the team.

I was asked to "produce" photo ID when I arrived - there was no forewarning of this, I do not carry my driving licence, luckily my son had his. This felt wrong, I have never before been asked for this at a hotel or B&B anywhere in the UK in 40+ years of travelling and to honest given the nature of the area in which the units were located, made me quite suspicious and wary of handing over ID. The host said it was a police request and there was a hand scrawled notice on the wall to this effect - but this did not fill me with confidence. Had I been travelling alone, I probably would have left to seek an alternative. As it was, due to a quite uncomfortable bed, I did not stay for the second night I was booked for.

Was in a rough area, had a door to an adjoining room that we hadn’t booked and couldn’t lock from our side, didn’t feel safe in the area/room as two young girls, receptionist not present or helpful, holes in the walls and in the leather sofa.

Lighting was full on , no way of turning on just one little light. The bathroom had various items broken shower rail of the wall, shower wall about to come off, toilet leaking at the bottom onto the floor. No hand towel or tea towel

Pleasant stay

Location was fine, on the main bus route into the centre... 10mins on the bus or half an hour walk ( down hill) the apartment itself was clean and comfortable and we had a pleasant stay. Loved having a fridge to keep our drinks, food for days out and chocolate safe, fresh and unmelted 😀as the weather was very hot. The staff were all nice, friendly and efficient. Some of the previous reviews mentioned noise...we stayed from Wednesday through to Saturday and the only noise was from a guest at about 1am Saturday from what sounded like the room next door.... fancied himself to be a bit of a gangsta rapper from the sound of it...he also broke some glass at some point!... I just found my earplugs and poof...the nuisance was no more! Husband is slightly deaf and was flat out so the beds were comfortable enough to keep him asleep though it 😆would definitely consider staying here again next time we are over this way.

Poor signal in the room so the TV didn't work but not an issue for us as the weather was good and we only returned to the room to sleep and the bedside lights didn't work, it would have been nice to read before sleep but again not the end of the world so only raised it with the staff on leaving as something for them to be aware of.

The bedside lamps were broken, there was no kettle, only a broken coffee machine and no pods. Door handle to the adjacent room had been pulled off and was in a drawer not repaired. No hairdryer. The location was not the best, overlooking the rear of a takeaway with a noisy pump going on and off all night.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed, should have read reviews prior to staying there.

Free parking and had a fridge in the room

Pretty much everything. When we arrived, the lift was out of use, which isn’t helpful if anyone was in a wheelchair etc. Once we got to our room, there was a horrible smell, similar to stale smoke? There was also a sewage smell from the bathroom during the night. There was holes in the bathroom wall, the radiator was near enough hanging off the wall, there was marks over the carpet, and the side of the sofa bed was broken. YouTube on the TV didn’t work. The noise from the street when you were trying to sleep was unbearable, and you could hear everything in the corridors from your room, and could also hear noise from the apartment beside your room. There was no air conditioning so the room was absolutely roasting! There was no hot water coming from the shower on our last day. Also when we checked in at reception we were asked to pay a ten pound in cash deposit for the room key? I’ve never heard of this before and wasn’t told prior to arriving, therefore didn’t have any cash on me but was told it was fine???

Don't do it

Nothing. Dirty, unsavoury noises all through the night. Lift didn't work, fridge didn't work, nothing about this place is nice. We should have investigated the reviews. This place should not be offered on booking dot comm or anywhere else for that matter. We checked out early despite having paid.

Dirty, burn marks on the floor, holes in the walls. Broken lift, broken fridge so our stuff went off overnight. No a nice location so you couldn't just wander the street for a meal. See the image of our view below.
