Ideal location close to Metro

Perfect location but initally hard to find: it wasn't exactly where shown on the Booking.com map and had no name or number. Only when I spoke to host on phone did she tell us exact location, (i.e directly opposite the Byron Hotel). Also we never received the WhatsApp message sent by host the day before. After that all was plain sailing.

No handrail by or over the bath. Fine for two people but wouldn't have wanted to share with more:; if using upstairs sleeping are no privacy for anyone and hazardois stairway to reach: OK for young and active but not anyone with mobility issues.

Plaka on your doorstep

Fabulous location for Plaka and Monastiraki ramblings. Vibrant and colorful area, lots to explore, plenty of places to discover from architecture to entertainment and dining and shopping. Easy access to metro and very walkable. The people and the atmosphere make it a wonderful place to visit. The accommodation was clean, bright functional and spacious, if you can score this place, don't think twice.

In all honesty, we could not fault anything here.

Great for the price paid

Room met expectations and was in a great location. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and useable. All beds were comfortable and bedding was ok. You get what you paid for I guess, it all worked and was great for what it was and price.

Kitchen had ants towards the end of the trip so we didn't use the kitchen much. Some of the sockets were screwed in properly. I'd recommend taking mosquito repellent as we got bit several times during the night. Only other issue was finding a dead lizard in the bed which wasn't there when we went to sleep.

Excellent location in the Plaka. Walk around corner to acropolis. Roomy apartment with authentic feel.

Photos gave impression there were 2 double beds. Reality was 1 double with 2 single beds that were not in the same room and a fold out couch that wasn't comfortable. Bit of an issue if you are traveling with 2 couples.

Exceptional

This property is about as convenient as you can get. The entrance to the acropolis is 1 block walk and all the restaurants of the Plaka neighbourhood are available with a quick stroll north on the same street. Great location.

The place was nice, and the location is fabulous. Right at the bottom of Acropolis. In a lively neighborhood, but still quiet.

Great stay in Athens!

Big appartment ideally located - Plaka area, next to the Acropole - and yet very calm. Dimitris is reactive and helpful. Appropriate for a few days in Athens!

A bit dark (to keep from the heat) and humid - the courtyard is nice but you don’t get to take so much advantage of it.

Overall, the visit was great for the situation.

The owner was very helpful. He was able to accommodate a last minute booking due to a positive Covid test and not being able to board a plane. He met me with the keys and even helped me order a taxi to the airport at the end of my quarantine.

Some of the other apartment residents were loud at times in the shared courtyard. This wasn't an every night occurrence, though.

Great Location, not so great communication

The location was fabulous! We could walk just about everywhere to see all the sights, shopping and cafes. Our street was even a fun little side street. The beds were good, we just needed to text to get bed linens for the loft bed. The kitchen was a good size. Bathroom needed toiletries, which said it came with them. The patio is beautiful but only if you sat out there during the day. No lights at night to sit and enjoy the evening.

The communication could have been better. I asked several questions and was told they’d explain when we got there. But he was late to meet us and was very rushed to get thru giving us the keys. Had to message him to get bed linens and an iron. Says the place has toiletries and an iron. It had neither. I do wish he would have showed us how to run the washing machine but check in was very rushed. I set up a transfer from the airport as well as another for when we left. Got a message when we landed that I needed to take a taxi to the place. And our departure transfer was 45 minutes late. Just wish the communication and attention to detail would have been a bit better.

Ruhige Wohnung mitten im trubeligen Plaka

Die Vermieterin war aussergewöhnlich nett und zuvorkommend. Ablage des Gepäcks vor Check-in war überhaupt kein Problem, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral in Plaka, die Touristenmassen draussen merkt man wegen der Innenhof-Lage überhaupt nicht. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreichbar.

Muy buena ubicación, personal amable, pero mala distribución de la casa y había cucarachas

La localización es perfecta para ver el casco antiguo. El señor fue muy amable, nos facilitó la entrada antes de tiempo y nos buscó un taxista muy amable.

Había cucarachas, muy oscuro y copado de camas. La casa es bastante incomoda y el dormitorio superior es una barbacoa.

Läget!

Stor lägenhet med ett fantastiskt läge. Någon minuts promenad från entrén till Acropolis. Tyst läge på en innergård. Viktigast för oss var ac, och det fanns två stycken som fungerade perfekt. Sköna sängar och tjocka sköna handdukar. Wifi fungerade perfekt (lösenordet stämmer inte som står på angivet, scanna bara qr-koden på routern) Mycket bra kontakt med värden, som direkt svarade på meddelanden. Hjälpte oss också med en taxi till Pireus vid utcheckning. (som var kl.11 och inte 12) Kommer definitivt boka denna lägenhet vid nästa Atenresa.

Allt fungerade bra för oss. Kunde kanske behövt en nyckel till, men det hade jag säkert fått om jag bett om det.

La posizione

Avevamo fatto la ricerca per quattro posti letto. Segnalava due camere da letto; in realtà era una camera matrimoniale con soppalco con un materasso sopra un asse di legno, senza comodino + un letto in sala. Il materasso del soppalco era senza il lenzuolo di sopra ! Bagni dichiarati due, in realtà ce n'era uno solo !!!!Nessuna vasca idromassaggio. Il nome della rete e la password wifi sono riportati su un quaderno , ma lo scopri dopo. Poi non c’è nessuna terrazza e il patio è un ingresso di un cortile….nessuna accoglienza! Corinne

Posizione eccezionale nel quartiere di Plaka, vicino alle attrattive storiche, alla metro e ai negozi/ristoranti. Ambienti ampi e silenziosi oltre che riservati. L'appartamento è dotato di ogni accessorio utile per una vista quotidiana, soprattutto per chi ama consumare i pasti in casa.

La pulizia in genere potrebbe essere migliorata, così come la dotazione di lenzuola e coperte per tutti e 4 gli ospiti.
