Great stay

Location was excellent, so close to all the tourist sights. The apartment was basic, but very homely, private and comfortable. The neighbours were very welcoming and we loved our courtyard and the private balcony with an excellent view of the acropolis. Overall value for money, living in the oldest area of Athens and being so close to the action. Would recommend.

Memorable and wonderful.

Location, the price and our host, she was wonderful and was very accommodating as we turned up earlier than the check in time and she allow us to drop our luggages. She even invited us to her mother’s milestone birthday that evening. It was such an honour to be invited and experience a street party hidden behind the main shopping strip of the Plaka.

I’ll be back!

Enter property though a delightful shared garden tho the property itself is rudimentary, it has everything one needs plus masses of charm, and the cool of a garden a bonus - so central but still quiet as tucked away in its littie walled garden. And beat the queues for an early morning visit to the Acropolis as entrance but a few minutes walk through what is a lovely quarter of Athens.

A lamp in the living area and a second bedside lamp rather just the (rather harsh) overhead lighting would have pleased on the aesthetics but this is nit- picking. It is a very lovely, private spot, that comes with a warm welcome and very reasonably priced.

The location is excellent and close to everything. Lady who lived next door to take the bags was brilliant. Very attentive and helpful. For the price, it was worth it for the location.

Bathroom was narrow with steep steps and accomodation was not bright. At night the accomodation/street is not very well lit, could have done with more street lighting but not a fault of the property.

I loved the terrace!

I loved the cozy terrace and the courtyard! We had the terrace to ourselves 90% of the time and it was great. The courtyard is shared but half of it was partitioned off with plants so it was private for us. Nice to have the courtyard to relax in the middle of Athens. Great neighbourhood to stay in. Lots of touristy shops and restaurants within minutes of walking. The Acropolis is right around the corner. The apartment has everything you need. And the host is very helpful and sent me everything I needed to know before the trip.

Nothing really. The apartment interior could nicer but then you would be paying much much more for an apartment in this location. When people are in the courtyard, it can be loud in the apartment.

Book this place to be in the neighborhood of the Gods!

The location is just below the Acropolis! It is the best place to stay if you want to explore the Plaka, Acropolis, and Athen's Flea Market... everything is 5 minutes away and the property has a very Greek vibe to it.

The house was a bit unorganized, and the A/C wasn't cooling the room enough to make it comfortable to sleep in

Loved the location, owners were very friendly, felt so comfortable, the terrace rooftop and courtyard garden were wonderful.

Only bad thing was the AC was weak when we were there, however the additional fan was enough to make it comfortable.

Budget-friendly option under the Acropolis (walk everywhere!)

Margarita and her husband were both lovely – her mother-in-law and neighbor were particularly exuberant folks who were fun to interact with. For the price, this place satisfies all expectations and is a great deal for a couple of no-frills nights in an unbeatable location. The room is in the heart of everything you want to do for your first visit to Athens (or for a quick 2-night stopover like we had). The room is super basic, but the courtyard and terrace are both divine. My partner and I commented to each other that for this location, the place could be turned into a pricy boutique Airbnb listing, but we are grateful that a low-budget option like this (basic amenities, tolerable (but clean) bathroom, and hodge-podge furnishings) exists for the backpackers and travelers whose home currencies might not take them as far.

Nagyon jó környéken helyezkedik el a szállás, közel mindenhez, mégis csendes utcában.

A ház emeletén 2 "lakás" volt, az egyik éppen felújítás alatt. Már most tudjuk, hogy a foglaláskor látott fényképek a két lakásból lettek összerakva. Ahol mi voltunk nem volt természetes fény, az ablakok egy világítóudvarra nyíltak. Ha ezt tudjuk, biztosan nem foglalunk itt szállást. A berendezés olyan volt, amilyen. A lenti lakásban lakók (tulajdonosok?) a megkérdezésünk nélkül bementek a lakásba, mert a szomszéd lakás felújításhoz ki akartak valamit onnan hozni. A lányunk éppen otthon maradt aznap reggel, így ijedten hívott fel :(

Natomiast nie zgadza się ze zdjęciami to co zobaczymy na żywo. Stare rozpadające się meble, w szufladach i szafkach napchane jakieś rzeczy, nie ma miejsce, żeby schować swoje rzeczy. W opisie płyta kuchenna - nic takiego nie ma. Nie ma okna w pokoju. Nie wychodzi się na taras z pokoju - jak sugerują zdjęcia. Nie ma informacji na ten temat. Jest miejsce na dachu, ale nie dość że trudno się tam dostać, to jest to rupieciarnia, wysypisko wszystkiego, śmietnik rzeczy wyrzuconych, stare lodówki, brud, syf, wyrzucony parasol, obudowa magnetofonu zepsutego, zardzewiałe coś, co może było grillem, deski, pręty. Nie do uwierzenia. Stare skrzypiące łóżko. Każdy mebel jest przyniesiony ze śmietnika lub z miejsca, z którego ktoś go wyrzucił. Szuflady zepsute, niektórych nie da się wysunąć, bo popsute, inna cały czas jest otwarta, bo nie da się zamknąć. Dziura w suficie na muszlą klozetową, muszla stoi w brodziku prysznica, trudno z niej korzystać z powodu progu. Zjawisko chore. Zakaz wrzucania papieru do muszli, jest pojemnik - ale śmieci trzeba wyrzucać gdzieś we własnym zakresie. Nie ma nikogo z obsługi, klucze trzeba wyjąć ze skrytki, co nie jest proste. Adres na booking to numer 12, pod tym numerem są drzwi, a za nimi kolejna rupieciarnia. Okazuje się, że w rzeczywistości to numer 10 . Kosmetyki w łazience...to jedynie te, które ludzie zostawili. Ręczniki, jeden mały, jeden duży - twarde i drapią po twarzy. Miejsce porażka.
