Lovely little loft apartment on the top of a building that is tucked away in a back alley. There is a coop mini market nearby and a handful of little cafes/ bacaro. Once you get the hang of navigating the streets it’s pretty easy. Watch your head on the steps if you’re tall!

I spent 3 nights at the property and it was nice and peaceful. The apartment is located in an area that is mostly inhabited by locals. It's close to the vaporetto which makes getting there and back very easy. The only issue I had was when I arrived, the person I was to meet was not there, nor was anyone else. I messaged her by text and email and eventually got a reply that she would send someone. After another 25 minutes someone arrived to let me in (45 minutes after my scheduled arrival). However it became clear something was not right and I was eventually told that the apartment needed to be cleaned and I could come back in an hour. That is not what I wanted to do at that point... after 2 train rides totalling over 6 hours...I was tired and wanted to relax. Not knowing if I'd ever be able to settle in, I left to find something to eat and returned 45 minutes later and found her still there cleaning, but she let me in and left...the smell of floor cleaner in the air. Other than this, it was a good experience but I'm not sure why the apartment wasn't ready for me as I had booked it months in advance. Hopefully mine was an isolated incident... communication was generally very good otherwise
