This properly was lovely and the perfect size for me. It had everything you could need for a long or short stay. The balcony was lovely, it overlooked the rest of the garden with a table and chairs to sit at. I sat and did some work under the umbrella in the sun and it was lovely. The owners were so helpful and kind. I was due to check in at 1900 but finished work early so went back to the property early. I forgot to call the owners to let them know but they were okay about it and sorted everything out for me. Ruth also suggested that instead of driving into work (BRI) and paying for fuel and parking, I could get the bus in and it would be cheaper. She helped me with the bus times and I would highly recommend doing this rather than driving in as it is so much cheaper and easier. There are two bus stops just a short walk (2-5 minutes) down the road which are very handy. The apartment was very clean, water pressure was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Even tho it’s close to a main road, the area is quiet. There is a Lidl and Aldi about 15-30 minutes away (depending on traffic).

Great little spacious apartment with great access to Clifton/Bristol and the M5

Great location close to the m5 but only 20 mins into a really nice area of Bristol. It was very smart and extremely well equipped, clean, light and great views out of the back. I bet it's even better in nice weather (it was rotten when we stayed) as there's nice decking and an attractive garden out of the back patio doors. Friendly host who was prepared to go out of her way to make it an enjoyable stay for us including printing running maps of local routes. There were signs around to help you find or control things. The sofa was large and comfortable.

There was always warm water on demand so this is not a complaint but the shower didn't go hot enough in my opinion. It was a cold weekend and getting out of a warm shower wasn't enough to stop you getting pretty cold when you got out (and wiped it down with a squeegee). The bed was very soft which is probably nice for one adult but with two it sank to the centre a lot which wasn't great for my back. These are personal preferences though, and we would definitely love to return, just perhaps with our own large towels or robes to keep warm after showers.

Exceptional quality place

Exceptionally clean place, comfortable and spacious. Everything what you needed was there. Private and quiet, easy comute by car to Bristol ( and around). Even I've found fresh milk bottle in the fridge on arrival 😀...modern bathroom and strong power shower. Highly recommended, but don't book it when I'll have to get to Bristol! I'd like to have it for myself! :))thank you, Ruth

A great stay in a great appartment the views from the decking are stunning

Ruth called me on my way with instructions on how to gain the keys and get in . we arrived and accessed the property with no issues and was a pleasant walk in to a lovely appartment. place was spotless and homely

Relaxing and wonderful stay, already looking forward to returning when we can.

Location of the property was great and the accommodation was perfect. The host was so, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she was at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Added bonus was the view from the patio doors.

Only one thing and this is being really picky. Possibly needs a new mattress. Dips in the middle and a tad uncomfortable but that is the one and only thing.

An ideal location for a short escape with plenty of room to relax and unwind.

Quiet location with plenty of room in the living room area to just relax with a view out across the fields beyond. The hosts provided me with a challenging local running route on request which was an added bonus and made sure they were available throughout the stay and were more than happy to answer any questions.

Delightful place, full of light, excellently laid out and look forward to returning.

The light and airiness of the place. It was very clean. There were a few bits that made the stay easier (oil, salt, pepper, spices, eggs, bread, milk, garlic oxo cubes, ketchup, margarine, good utensils, pots pans, toiletries, dishwasher tablets) Sofa is very large and comfortable, the decking is a lovely space. Very powerful shower, a place to unpack and put clothes. Very friendly and helpful on all the correspondence.

This is hard to say as everything was so amazing and I would book again and again. The mattress could do with being changed. A bit bouncy. I'm used to a firmer mattress and I was a little stiff for a few days after.

Pastoral Somerset retreat

The flat has got a terrace with an untirely unspoiled view over the Somerset hills. It feels like a pastoral retreat after busy days in Bristol. The landlady is an extremely friendly person. She has equipped the flat in way that you won't miss anything.
