The property was well designed and provided everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We would love to stay again to visit relalatives in the area. it was a pleasant surprise to find that coffee, tea, milk, cereal were provided to help you settle in quickly. The views were brilliant. Thank you.

Lovely stay, great location and views. Nice and quiet neighbourhood, and super friendly Host! The Nook is very cosy and well equipped, filled with thoughtful touches which make you feel like home. Spotless clean.

Easy access to coastal path. View from bedroom. Generous 'welcome' pack much appreciated. Peaceful. Private.
Keysafe was very difficult to get into: needed two hands. Latch on internal door didn't work: the door didn't close. There was an occasional 'drain' smell downstairs.

Comfortable bedroom with a great view, excellent shower, and very close to the Coast Path. Good to have milk etc provided on arrival.
The kitchen, living room space was quite small and less well equipped than other similar places we've stayed e.g. no cafetiere or similar for making proper coffee.

Everything, very clean and well equipped
just one thing that was a bit off putting , there was a door in the kitchen that seemed to be an access into the main house
it was locked but my partner gets a little nervous about doors that she can’t secure from the inside

Warm and cosy with great views. Compact, but great for a short break.
The shower room is down the curved stairs, which isn’t great for nighttime visits!

Nice hosts, prime tv, nice touch with cereal and milk provided.
It was hard to find, the parking was narrow or on a hill so we parked on the street. Very narrow steep stairs.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped, great view.
Parking a little tricky. Wifi didn't quite support streaming services on the TV adequately but we didn't go there to watch TV!

The location is stunning, the hosts were wonderful and very accommodating when I had questions or queries and even helped out when I needed some laundry done! Very quiet in the evenings when I got back in, and when weather allowed sitting out with a drink and a book was the perfect way to finish the day.

Good location with a sea view. Compact and functional. Milk and tea making facilities on arrival. Shower was good.
In need of a freshen up. A stain on the settee and paintwork needs refreshing in places. Bathroom is downstairs and the stairs to the bedroom are quite steep.
Bathroom decking would benefit from attention to reset them. Towel needs replacing.

The Nook was a beautiful little two storey apartment with a compact kitchen/sitting area downstairs, along with a modern shower room, and a delightful spacious bedroom upstairs with a view of the Bristol Channel across to Wales from the dormer window. The apartment was clean and attractively decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a few days. The provision of milk, cereal, fruit juice and biscuits were appreciated.
The steep uphill driveway was a little bit tricky to negotiate but was not a real issue if you take it slowly and carefully.

Lovely quiet spot with wonderful views and easy access to the coastal path. The welcome pack including breakfast cereal was a thoughtful touch.
We found the mattress a little uncomfortable.

Excellent all round. Will be booking again for visiting friends or family. Beautiful property for a couple to enjoy the views over the Severn to Wales and fab location. Hosts were great and even left milk, cereal, tea, coffee, sugar, etc to assist. Very clean throughout and really well organised.

Liked - location close to the coast path, making it easy to go out for an evening walk or morning run. Decent sized bedroom, good shower. Kitchen had everything we needed. No shops spotted in walking distance, but we’d bought what we needed earlier by the marina. Perfectly located for good sunsets
Only (minor) comments - dining table was too small for 2 people to sit at (maybe a folding one would be better?).

Just delighted and perfect for our needs! The view of the estuary is spectacular and the little bistro table was great for watching the sun go down. It would be so easy to become fascinated by watching the shops slide gently and silently by. Great advice from the hosts on local restaurants, while the good kitchen amenities would encourage us to come back for a longer stay. The Nook does what it promises, offering a cosy, quiet and comfortable environment. The street parking presented no problems and, I think, we would recommend that rather than the driveway. There may also be additional pillows which I missed but it was too late to ask. Love the quiet, love the night sky and the coast is remarkably handsome. 💐

The nook was cosy and welcoming, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail made it feel warm and inviting, creating a perfect space to relax. The best part is that it truly feels like home—a place where you can unwind and settle in with ease. Whether for a short visit or a longer stay, it offers both comfort and charm in equal measure. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a homely retreat.
The nook was just a stone’s throw from the sea, offering breathtaking views from the bedroom window. Waking up to the sight and sound of the waves made for a truly relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy nook. The location on the edge of Portishead right by the sea was just great for extended walks along the coastal trail. There's a bus stop very close to the apartment making it easy to schlepp our shopping from Clevedon or downtown Portishead. The view of the sea and estuary from the bedroom window was quite something. Milk, tea, coffee and cookies were at the ready when we arrived making us feel most welcome. Communication with our hosts was helpful and prompt. Great shower, too. We'd love to come again.
Nothing to complain about.

A fantastic self-contained apartment with everything that you need for a short stay. I work for a business in the area and stop over quite regularly and I am so glad that I have found this place. It will be the first place I check availability for in the future!
Nothing - Everything was excellent!

Nothing to fault.

Comfortable place with a lovely view of the estuary. Peaceful location. Hosts had emailed prior to my stay and welcomed me.
The driveway is very steep and narrow. It's difficult with other cars parked at the top to turn round, so you have to reverse back down the drive onto a road that's on a bend. I guess you'd get used to it but for guests staying just a night or two I think it's worth giving them prior warning.

The host was outside the property when we arrived so the keys were made available immediately. Milk and orange juice in the fridge was appreciated on our arrival. Host was very pleasant and informative, giving us suggestions of local attractions that he enjoyed.
The accommodation was sufficient for our needs and we found nothing to complain about during our visit.

I liked the straightforward process that wasn't tied to my arrival at a particular time (as I was travelling from Scotland, I couldn't guarantee an exact time).
It was a fabulous compact accommodation that had everything I needed - particularly loved being able to make a cuppa on arrival after a long drive!
The complimentary toiletries were lovely smelling.
Nothing, it was very well appointed.

We were only able to book this overnight stay mid-afternoon on the day and arrived only three hours later and the room was ready. The location is very quiet, peaceful and comfortable, completely separate from the host's house.
Had a nice meal at The Windmill pub and spent a pleasant evening by Portishead marina and popped into the Siren's Calling - well worth a visit.
On booking, Booking.com emailed an incorrect code to the key lock box. David, our host, had emailed the correct code but this was after we had set off and so we didn't receive it. Fortunately, David was in and was able to let us in.

Very comfortable stay, pity the weather wasn’t better to enjoy the afternoon sun at the outside table. Good kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable bed
Stairs a bit steep but that’s a minor point.

Lovely place, clean tidy and modern, a great base to explore from.
Nothing within walking distance to do, shops, pubs, ect, all a distance a way. Not a reflection on the accommodation quality. Just generally disappointed with portishead itself, my fault as I rushed my research as the stay was last minute

Super views & super clean with nice touches such as milk tea/coffee and even orange juice along with shredded wheat.
It exceeded our expectations.
Nothing to dislike.

The location and especially the wonderful views across the river suited us well. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable. We found plenty to do locally, with National Trust properties and the facilities at Clevedon and Portishead Marina nearby.

It was a very easy location and everything was very well planned
Nothing except maybe a fan as it was very hot but that's it
