About this house rental

The Waldhaus Haag in Morbach-Haag is a beautiful rustic cottage in the woods, yet only ten minutes walk from the nearest village Haag. The house with four bedrooms, a large living room with fireplace and a cozy fully equipped kitchen has space for eight to ten people. The swimming pool and sauna in the house provide plenty of fun and recreation for young and old guests. Outside the door is a cozy barbecue area, a large play area with slide and sandbox for the kids and especially the silence of the forest that surrounds the house. Just two minutes from the house you can see deer and sheep in the pasture. Around the house many wonderful ways invite to explore the area and the nearby romantic Mosel vallee.

Amazing Forest Home for a Relaxing Break

We spent a four day weekend in Cristoph's quiet, secluded, private, forest oasis. Everything was as described (or better!) and were loved our stay. We traveled as a family of 4-- two adults and two kids age 2 and 6. The children loved the completely fenced property, the playground equipment in the garden, hiking right out the front door, and of course the pool! The parents loved being away from it all, including no wifi and very little mobile reception; fires in the fireplace, the well equipped kitchen (including basic oils and spices!), the generous welcome gift, and the ability to rejouvinate in the sauna after wearing out the kids! The bedroom setup was a little bit of a challenge, as the "parents room" with double bed was upstairs, while the bunk room with baby cot, and twin bed rooms were downstairs. We embraced the situation and decided to sleep in the bunks with the cot nearby, and had great fun. We too felt like kids again. Pre-arrival communication with both Christoph and Gabi was smooth and clear. We will be back!

Für acht Personen + Hund sehr viel Platz im gemütlichen Jagdhaus, schönes abgelegenes Grundstück mit Spiel-, Grill- und Sitzmöglichkeiten, irgendwo war immer Sonne oder Schatten je nach Wunsch. Highlights waren Pool und Sauna, ideal zum relaxen nach anstrengenden Wanderungen in der Umgebung.

Das Haus war sauber und genauso wie beschrieben. Der Vermieter war absolut zuverlässig und antwortet bei Fragen sehr schnell. Für manche mag die Einrichtung altbacken sein, für uns war es einfach nur passend in einem schönen Waldhaus mit Pool!! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und haben uns wirklich erholt! Es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden und es fehlt an nichts. Schwimmbad und Sauna sind dabei ein besonders genussvolles und entspannendes Highlight. Die Rehe und Schafe nebenan sowie der herrliche Wald bieten eine fast völlig andere wunderbare Welt und sind Erholung pur! Gabi ist eine sehr nette und kompetente Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort für das Haus.

Das Objekt ist idyllisch rustikal. Der perfekte Ort um mal auszusteigen. Vermieter und Kontakt vor Ort sind sehr nett und waren jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir haben unser Wochenende dort sehr genossen.

....und ich mag es sehr! Wer ein paar Tage in absoluter Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Mitten im Wald, immer im Blick von einer großen Rehherde. 70er Jahre Style, wenn ich für immer da wohnen würde, (und das würde ich gerne) würde ich das Interieur ändern, aber für ein Wochenende oder für eine Woche voll o.k. Bei einem so großen Haus und und der Lage muss man aber auch in Kauf nehmen, dass man doch irgendwo noch ein paar Spinnweben findet, oder dass mal ne Maus durchs Wohnzimmer rennt! Der Mietpreis: Hört sich am Anfang ein bisschen viel an, wenn man aber bedenkt, dass in diesem Preis schon alles inbegriffen ist, ist der Preis o.k. Denn so ein Pool (mit 29° Wassertemperatur und ne Sauna ziehen schon ganz schön Strom). Die sonstige Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles da, von Handtüchern, über Grill, Grillplatz, oder Kaffemaschine. Das einzig negative....die Schlafsituation! Es stimmt schon, dass dieses Haus über 4 Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt 8 Betten und zwei weiteren Schlafgelegenheiten verfügt, aber es gibt wirklich nur ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Also theoretisch ist das Haus ideal für ein Ehepaar mit 8 Kindern. Wenn man aber mit 5 Paaren anreist, müssen 2 Paare schon in einem Raum schlafen . Da is dann nix mehr mit Privatsphäre. In unserem Fall war es o.k. wir waren drei Paare und ein Single, ein Single wollte noch nachkommen, kam aber dann doch nicht. Wir konnten uns gut damit arrangieren, mal für ein Wochenende hintereinander, anstatt nebeneinander zu schlafen. Aber, alles in allem, erhält das Haus von mir die volle Punktzahl und wir werden definitiv wieder hinfahren.

Das Haus war genau so wie beschrieben!! Der Empfang durch Gabi war sehr herzlich und auch der Kontakt zu Herr Stein hat reibungslos funktioniert. Wir waren für drei Tage in dem Haus und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Platz für zehn Leute und es hat jedem viel Spaß gemacht. Pool und Sauna waren ideal zum Entspannen nach einer ausgedehnten Wanderung. Gerne mieten wir es wieder!!!
