We had a great stay. The villa is perfect for two families. Plenty of room both indoor and outdoors. Patio is lovely for BBQ and long warm evenings. The pool is perfect for hot, sunny days. There are great hikes in the area and the village is charming.

The kitchen is too small and way too poorly equippet. Overall the finish of the house is too old. The pool area is very nice, Dolceacqua is a beautiful small and old town with an interesting history. The manager did not respond to all our questions before arrival, the house support was friendly but did not speak any English at all. Google translate solved that though. The outdoor kitchen, or bar area, is also very warn down. All is working, even if being old (dish washer, wash machine, fridge and freezers, jacuzzi) but the owen is outside and small plus one of the burners is not working in the kitchen. The road to the house is narrow and steep, but we knew about that. Two cars was preferred instead of one big van (as we planned for originally) The house could be extremly beautiful but need some real TLC!

This was a great place to stay with a big group. We were a part of 9, three families with teenage children. There was plenty of space for us all to come together and have fun, and to hide away and read a book in peace and quite. The pool is a really good size. Getting to the property is not the easiest - it was difficult to find from the instructions given to us. The drive up to it is very steep and narrow, but once you have navigated it a few times it's absolutely fine. There are two bedrooms without air conditioning. There weren't any written instructions to go with the property, so we ahd to work a lot of things out ourselves. The person who is available to help you locally is lovely; very friendly and he coudln't be more helpful, but he isn't the owner and so can't answer all your questions. The owner answered my questions very quickly when I contacted them via vrbo, but a written guide to everything and written instructions about how to find the property would have been much more useful. The villa is about a 25 min walk outside dolceaqua, and some of this walk is on the main road which is pretty busy. It's only 2 minutes in the car though. Dolceaqua has good local shops for food, a good selection of places to eat and is a really nice place to stay. We went up into the mountains and visited lots of lovely little villages. Our favourite was Perinaldo, where we had a lovely lunch in Ristorante Bar Au Gaggian - amazing rabbit ravioli! We went swimming a lot at the beach in Bordighera, which is about 35 min drive away. It's got a rocky beach good for snorkelling and a gravel beach with loungers, cafes etc. It's a slightly smarter seaside town than ventigmiglia. The food market in ventimiglia is great, well worth shopping from. The Friday market is enormous and also fab if you love hunting for bargains - clothes, bags, belts, food etc. All in all a great base for exploring the area, both the mountains and the sea.

My family and I had a wonderful holiday at this place. The host was very welcoming and responded very quickly to all my questions. The villa is just amazing. It has way more amneties than needed and you can feel that the villa wasnt build as an investment but as a place for relax and living. I defenetley would come back!

Very nice villa with plenty of amenities. Spacious with lots of room and plenty of lounge areas scattered around the house. The ocean breeze funneled into the wally kept the temperature pleasant during our stay. The pool chemistry should however be better balanced to improve the water clarity. Nice outside dining area and barbecue facilities makes cooking easy. I can recommend the nearby Maxisconto supermarket for fresh meat and fish. Pizza at the square in Dolceaqua is also foolproof. Would come back!

We had a very nice Holiday. The weather was very good ! And we could ski in Limone and walk by the sea. It’s very awesome ! The house is very comfortable. Thank’s a lot for the owners !!
