Villa Stella / Anticheterme

This beautiful spa complex in Sorano with independent holiday homes (10) and holiday apartments (28) is built around an old parish church dating back to the year 1000 and is located in the green hills of southern Tuscany, in a region rich in thermal springs and Etruscan archaeological sites. The 7-hectare estate is located in an area with many thermal springs, where the water flows at 37°C in ancient pools and streams. The peculiarity of this water is the total absence of sulphur and the simultaneous richness in magnesium, zinc and calcium, essential elements for skin and body care. In fact, therapeutic treatments are authorised in the complex. In addition to two beautiful thermal water pools (37°C) with waterfalls and natural whirlpools and a thermal pool for children, which are open all year round, the complex also includes an ancient thermal pool dating back to 1363 (Bagni dei Frati) with two springs in the rocks in the forest (admission for a fee), a wellness spa (bathing treatments, massages, mud therapy and other relaxing treatments), a sports swimming pool (18x11m), tennis court, a restaurant (table reservation on site) with organic menus with products from the surrounding areas. Terme di Sorano has a wide range of services that allow guests to alternate a relaxing holiday with hikes, mountain bike tours (rental on site), horseback riding (for a fee; riding stable on the adjacent estate) or with day trips to Pitigliano and Sovana. The beautiful coasts of the Maremma are approx. 40 km away. On the neighbouring estate, guests can visit an oil mill, take part in oil tastings and, in October/November, take part in the olive harvest.
