If you wish to have a wellness day, you can take advantage of the numerous thermal baths and SPAs in San Casciano Bagni (11 km) or Chianciano Terme (26 km). History buffs should visit the medieval town of Montalcino (72 km), its fortress and alleys, while tasting the world famous Brunello red wine. Siena (103 km), with its monuments and Piazza del Campo, where the Palio di Siena takes place, is also worth a day trip. Those who love the sea can visit the sandy beaches at Montalto di Casto, 70 km away, while the beautiful Argentario area, with its romantic places such as Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, is only 100 km away.
