The great hiking terrain in this region is inviting you for both longer and shorter trips. In the winter there is a nice skiing area - both cross country & downhill - just outside the house door. Day trips to i.a. the fjord-paradise Geiranger (UNESCO), the island of Runde with its enormous amount of birds, and the art nouveau city of Ålesund. Neighbour: 10 m.
