About this cabin rental
Holiday house by the lake suitable for couples / families wishing for a quiet and laid back holiday. Basically, the house is rented out to family people and not to workers. 2 holiday homes are located (see ad 6900363), yet sheltered for each other. The holiday homes can therefore also be suitable for two families wishing to vacation in separate homes. The holiday home is modernly equipped and contains everything you need. Good beds and cozy wood burning stove. Cot and high chair are inserted as needed. Parking near the house. A good starting point for visits to Runde, Ålesund and Geirnager. Very nice play area for children near by.
Room to arrange and freeze the catch for free disposal in own building. This building is common to the two cabins.
15 foot boat with 9.9 hp engine can be rented. The boats are located at the marina 3.5 km away.
Bed linen and towelsets can be hired.

Everything about this stay was wonderful: the hosts, the house, the environment, the use of the boat. Even the temperature was summery and above expectation. We would recommend everyone who wants to explore West-Norway a holiday in this house.

We have enjoy the holiday home very much, especially on some rainy days :). There a couple of hiking trails that start nearby and give you a great views.

We had a wonderful two weeks in Hareid - the house was wonderful, with spectacular views over the fjord. Even if we were a bit unlucky with the weather it did not matter much, because the views over the sea and mountains were always different, always spectacular, and there was tons to do: the Aquarium at Ålesund (which our 5-year old adored), Ålesund itself, Geiranger Fjord, and - beyond the tourist attractions - the island itself: there are some lovely walks and beaches here, and the island is really varied in its landscape. We did not come here for the fishing (but were very grateful to our lovely neighbours for sharing some of their excess fish with us) - and whether you come here for fishing or not: it's just a wonderful, unforgettable place for a vacation
