We loved the remoteness of this place. We wanted to explore the Gerainger area, without staying in a touristy area. The cabin was cute, cosy, comfortable & warm. With great views & surrounded by nature. There was one electric charging point that we used twice. The room had a heater & a log burner. The owner, Kristzi is lovely, very friendly & knowledgeable. We explored the nearby tin of Valdall, by taking a ferry across the fjord. We went to high ropes & zip line adventure park. We did the most incredible hike from the summer farm. We stayed in the cabin with 2 kids, so activities were kid-friendly.
The wet room in the bathroom could have been more spacious. Mosquito nets on the windows would have made it more comfortable for me (I’m scared of them as I get bitten a lot). Saying that, even without mosquito netting’s, we had the windows open a lot & I did not get bitten once. Could have done with a few more amenities in the kitchen such as vegetable peeler, big chopping board. All else was provided & we cooked several meals at the cabin (a joy, compared to eating out for so many nights before). It is very remote, but shops are nearby.

The host was superb, friendly, and helpful, and assisted us with everything that we needed. Basic amenities were provided. Everything was perfect.
