About this apartment rental

Stylish design studio with Altbaucharme, parquet flooring, high stucco ceilings, open sandstone wall and green courtyard. Fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, King Room, Wireless Internet, LED TV, workspace, private terrace with seating.

We have renovated our house for a long time lovingly and we now open for guests. The design studios are located in a beautiful courtyard and donate peace and privacy. That's why we give our apartments called "The Backyard".

Our house is a few hundred meters from the Roman monuments Porta Nigra gate to the pedestrian area and the Moselle with the Romanesque old fishing district Zurlauben. The Merianstrasse is a quiet residential street with many monument protected buildings from the turn of the century 19/20. Century. From here guests can explore the city on foot and visit the many beautiful gastronomy.

Very clean, very nice and complete appartment. The communication was quick, friendly and helpful. The location of the appartment was the best, you're close to the city but even then it was very quiet in the garden and in the one-way street. Could park the car every day within reach of the front door with great ease. If you want to go to Trier, this is the place to go :-)

Loved our stay here, what an extrordinary find! Totally beautiful styling, super comfortable living. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom luxurious. We were here in December so could not enjoy the spacious outdoor patio. A short walk from the city center, neighborhood was quiet, yet close to a city bus. Andrea was very helpful with all our questions. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

We so enjoyed our stay at TBY. It was quiet, and the place was clean, comfortable, and functional. It was walking distance to downtown Trier. Andrea was a wonderful hostess. She was helpful, hospitable, and answered all our questions, giving great advice on what to see, and where to eat. We felt at home, and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Just 8-10 minutes walk to the gorgeous Trier centre. The studio apartment is beautifully fitted out with everything travellers need. There is a small balcony for breakfast and a grassed area at the rear for afternoon drinks. The river is close by, for walks and a cruise. Andrea was an excellent host. Many thanks.

Where to start... the flat is beautiful, the landlady is extremely helpful, she made out stay just perfect, you can simply go down the basement and get wine, snacks, there is a small gym even, the flat contains everything one needs, the furniture and decorations just absolutely fit, and I could go on and on. Strong recommendation to book it, next time we will stay at least a week. Absolutely marvelous.

Wir wurden auf das herzlichste in Trier von unserer Gastgeberin empfangen. Das Appartement war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat war alles vorhanden sogar der Kühlschrank war für das erste Frühstück gefüllt. Danke, Danke! Sehr schön ist die Lage der Wohnung. Wir haben alles zu Fuß erledigt - besichtigt. Die Restaurants am Moselufer sind zu empfehlen.

Das Apartment ist sehr stylisch eingerichtet und liegt in einer verkehrsruhigen aber Innenstadt-nahen Straße. Sowohl Porta Nigra als auch die Mosel sind zu Fuß sehr schnell erreicht. Die Ausstattung ist überdurchschnittlich gut und gerade bei so Dingen wie dem Frühstücks-Starterpaket sehr gedankenvoll und aufmerksam zusammengestellt. Dazu gibt es kurz vor Ankunft hilfreiche Informationen zur Anreise und auch schöne Empfehlungen für Cafés und Restaurants. Bei Rückfragen bekamen wir sehr reaktionsschnell Antworten von Frau Frank und so haben wir uns von Anfang an total wohl gefühlt und hatten ein schönes Wochenende in Trier. Absolut empfehlenswert! :-)

This place is just as beautiful as the pictures and Andrea is an amazing host! We had a lovely stay here. The space had been beautifully renovated so that you had a sense of living in a historic building with all modern comforts. The bed is extremely comfortable and it's very quiet at night. The bathroom is gorgeous with an extremely large shower. You are a close walk to downtown Trier, yet tucked away. This place feels very special and I could not recommend it more.

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft ist optimal. Nur 3 Fussminuten zur Mosel, 5 Minuten zur "Schwarzen Pforte" (PortaNigra) und nur 3 Minuten zur Klinik der Barmherzigen Brüder, die wir in Anspruch nehmen mussten. Bei längerem Aufenthalt als ein Kurztrip empfehlen wir allerdings in der Wohnung 1 eine kleine gemütliche Rundecke mit Rückenlehnen, da leider nur in der Fensternische und am Tisch jeweils eine Holzbank mit Kissenauflagen zur Verfügung stand.
