About this apartment rental
The attractive 2-room apartment (50 m²) is located on the 2nd Floor (attic) of the Waldhaus residence, in a central but quiet location. The apartment is in the rear part of the building, facing the forest. From the balcony you have a wonderful view in and over the dune forest. You will find the parking space in the underground car park. The Baltic Sea is only a 2-minute walk away. The backwater, bakery, supermarket and various restaurants are within easy walking distance. The Waldhaus residence was built in the style of the Usedom spa architecture and offers all-round service (reception, bread service, etc.). In the other part of the building you will find a restaurant and café. The apartment is of high quality. You will find the kitchen in a separate room as a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The living room was furnished with a sofa bed, sitting and dining area, cable TV, telephone. The bathroom / toilet was completely redecorated and modern in winter 2018/2019. Activities, leisure and culture: Summer and winter, the area offers you a variety of opportunities for excursions and sporting activities. These include: Swimming, splashing around and building castles in and on the Baltic Sea, sailing, surfing, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, golf, bowling and much more. Between Zempin and Koserow is a large section of the beach for nudists. You can fish, play tennis or ride a horse, or enjoy the 1900 hours of sunshine a year on the island of Usedom. An 18-hole golf course offers the opportunity to improve the handicap. There are discos and a casino for night owls. Visit a historic salt hut here in Zempin, treat yourself to a really first-class concert. Because Usedom has culture, e.g. B. play orchestras like the Berliner Philharmoniker and great jazz ensembles from Poland during the annual Usedom Music Weeks in September.

The UBB - Usedomer Bäderbahn - takes you directly via Wolgast– Züssow - Greifswald to Stralsund or via Heringsdorf Ahlbeck to Poland. From Züssow you can use the Deutsche Bundesbahn to go to ICE long-distance destinations. You can easily reach Zempin by car from all directions via the Autobahn - exit Gützkow towards Wolgast and continue on the B 111 directly to Zempin or B 110 Anklam - Usedom - Zempin, flight: Flugplatz Heringsdorf / Garz. Once you have arrived, you have space for your vehicle and peace of mind. You can conquer the island and its treasures with all possibilities according to your needs. No matter whether by bike, car, on foot, on the backwaters and at sea by ship, with the
Carriage or as a skater. The island event schedule is varied, our local tourist office always keeps it
latest information ready.

Vielen Dank für diese schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. die Wohung ist geräumig, hell und sonnendurchflutet. Der Strand nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Kontakt zum Vermieter und Empfang vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Wir haben im Februar 2022 ein paar Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Angefangen von der netten Kommunikation mit den Vermietern, hin zur reibungslosen Schlüsselübergabe durch einen Dritten, bis zur optimalen Lage in Strandnähe.
Die Ferienwohnung hat ein kleines aber ausreichendes Bad, welches modern eingerichtet ist. Die Küche ist ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt, sogar einige Gewürze und Spülmittel standen bereit. Zur 100% Zufriedenheit hätten wir uns noch eine Mikrowelle gewünscht. Das Wohnzimmer mit gemütlicher Schlafcouch ist schön eingerichtet und bietet alles um den Abend entspannt ausklingen lassen zu können, ebenso das Schlafzimmer.
Der Strand ist fußläufig in ca. 2 min erreichbar und das Meeresrauschen ist bis zur Wohnung hörbar.
Alles in allem eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit Tiefgaragenstellplatz, die zum entspannen einlädt.
Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal dort! :)

Die Wohnung ist ok. Das Wohnzimmer ist nett und wohnlich eingerichtet. Das neue Bad sehr schön.Due Dusche toll. Die Küche ist gut gemeint aber schlecht gemacht. Das Licht ist viel zu dunkel, kein Tageslicht da kein Fenster. Der Lüfter verteilt die "Dürfte" aus anderen Kuchen darunter im Raum. Es stank nach Bratfisch, auch wenn wir Nudeln gekocht haben. Die Spülmaschine müsste erneuert werden. Sie tut zwar ihren Dienst, ist aber arg verkalkt und stinkt. Leider keine Mikrowelle. Absoluter Minuspunkt! Auch waren leider einige Töpfe, Becher und einiges an Besteck dreckig im Schrank vorzufinden. Sowas ist ärgerlich...
Das Schlafzimmer hat den Charme einer Klinik, auch wenn die Matratzen sehr gut sind. Haben gut geschlafen, aber wie um Krankenhaus...;-) Ä
rgerlich war auch, das man einen alten Grundriss der Räume sehen kann. Das Bad wurde neu gemacht. Die Wanne ist weg, dafür aber eine tolle Dusche da. Das verwirrt.
Die Nähe zum Meer ist top. Das war das Hauptkriterium weswegen wir uns für die Wohnung entschieden hatten. Wer etwas mehr Leben außerhalb von Strand möchte, wäre dort falsch.
