We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy, the shower was wonderful, and everything was extremely clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ability to walk almost everywhere was high on our list. Hosts were excellent, and I highly recommend staying here when coming to Trier.

Everything went well, check in was easy, communication was excellent. The apartment was great and served our purpose for exploring Trier. Easily walkable to the centre and further. Comfortable and with the added bonus of an outdoor seating area which came into its own in the summer heat we had. I would recommend this apartment and would stay again in future if in the area.

We loved our stay at the Piano Suite. It was very large and had a wonderful kitchen and two pianos! The balcony was very nice and those beds were so comfortable! The hosts always responded quickly and we were able to rent a car spot too. We couldn’t ask for anything more. I’d highly recommend.

I was in Trier to work with the opera house orchestra on the German premiere of my Frankenstein score played live with the film. Staying at the Piano Suite was a joy (the apartment is over the Huebner piano retail store where Steinway, Huebner, Yamaha and other pianos are sold by Marcus Huebner and his wonderful staff. In the immaculately clean and modern large one bedroom apartment are a Huebner grand piano and an electronic keyboard. For me, living with these beautiful instruments was a joy. The apartment was gorgeously conceived and has every convenience. The building is located on one of the nicest avenues in Trier, very close to excellent restaurants and theatrical locations. Cannot wait to come back!

We stayed 5 nights in this newly updated apartment. It was very clean, warm and extremely well equipped, including kitchen roll and washing-up liquid - the owners had thought of every detail. The WiFi and TV worked as expected. There was even a washing machine and dishwasher, although we didn't use them. The grand piano was a joy to play and the electric piano useful for playing late at night (headphones were provided). The apartment was about 5 minutes walk from both the station and Porta Nigra. Arrival and departure were smooth and friendly and accommodated our earlier than expected arrival and departure times. We loved exploring Trier with all its accessible Roman sites and many good restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to explore this very attractive town.

This is an ideal apartment for visiting the lovely city of Trier. The apartment is within easy walking distance of both the train station and the old city and all the sights you want to visit. The apartment is very nicely appointed. There is a nice terrace to sit on when the weather permits and 2 pianos. It is very well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, comfortable linens, and has a washing machine which is a real plus. The check in time is later than at a lot of apartments we've stayed at, but the owners will let you store your luggage in the piano store which is below the apartment, so it not a problem. The owners are very helpful. They made some great recommendations for restaurants for celebrating my birthday the weekend we were there. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Underwhelming

I hate to sound like the Ugly American, but I cannot help but do so for this unit. I will say that the people involved seem genuinely nice but... We were met at the Piano store downstairs by the owner's daughter. We were taken by elevator to the second floor, where we then had to carry our luggage down a flight of stairs to our rental. We were asked to sign the usual papers then told we needed to give her a significant amount of cash as a deposit. Despite running a company, they would not accept a deposit with a credit card. Needless to say, we were not told about this inconvenience in advance and this put a serious dent in our cash supply. The weekend we stayed was quite hot and the apartment became hot and stuffy without even any floor fans to help circulate the air. It did finally cool down early in the morning but by then we were awake because the bedroom is light and bright until you roll down the metal jealousies shades and diminish the fresh air flow. The internet works well but there is no microwave and the coffeemaker uses some sort of pod, but we did not know, and were not told, what type. There is also a clothes washer but also there are no instructions nor is there a clothes dryer. Parking is shared with the store employees. The space is cramped and is an additional daily charge. The site is in easy walking distance to the Porta Negra and the historic part of Trier.

My wife family stayed in this apartment for five nights. We would definitely select this apartment again when visiting Trier. If you have a car, I recommend asking about the option to park in the lot behind the apartment. The apartment is very well maintained with relatively new appliances. It has many useful features (one exception: no clothes washer). The couch in the main living area folds out into a relatively comfortable sleeping space. Our children thought it was perfect. The apartment is a short walk from the Porta Nigra and it is centrally located for exploring Trier.

Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in Trier erlebt. Die fußläufige Nähe zum antiken Zentrum haben wir sehr geschätzt. Der Bahnhof ist sehr nah und auch die Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfes sind um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Als Highlight für Musiker stehen ein Flügel und ein E-Piano zur Verfügung! Das hatten wir noch nie! Empfehlenswert

Über die Vorteile der Wohnung haben anderen schon geschrieben. Aber es gab 3 wichtige Nachteile: 1) Nach der Reservierungsbestätigung war unsere Reservierung, anscheinend wegen einer Parallelreservierung auf einem anderen System automatisch gekürzt. Das kann passieren, und diesmal war uns egal, aber das war nur erklärt, nachdem ich den Gastgeber kontaktiert habe. In dieser Fälle soll es die Verantwortung des Gastgebers sein, den Gast zu informierien. 2) Wir haben mit einem Kleinkind gereist. Zweimal war es erwähnt, dass es ein Kindreisenbett in der Wohnung gab...aber es war versteckt und unter dem Bett im Schlafzimmer zusammengeklappt. Höfflicher wär's, das Reisenbett vorzubereiten. 3) Im Hausordnungsbuch war die Beschreibung des Altglascontainerstandorts undeutlich. Eine genauere Wegbeschreibung und/oder Karte wäre hilfreich. Sonst war alles wie erwartet.

Schon zum zweiten Mal ein paar schöne Tage in dieser tollen Wohnung verbracht. Ankommen, Auto abstellen und alles zu Fuß erreichbar - in 5 min an der Porta Nigra. Für Musiker ein Traum, der eigene Flügel im Wohnzimmer verleiht der Wohnung ein schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

diese wunderschöne und total sinnvoll eingerichtete wohnung befindet sich in bester lage zur stadt, zur mosel und in der nähe des bahnhofes. sie lädt sowohl zu musikalischen ( total toller flügel und ein sehr gutes e piano) oder ruhenden aktivitäten ein( die terrasse ist ein träumchen). die küche ist zweckmäßig mit allen wichtigen dingen ausgestattet ( geschirrspülmaschine, nespresso, sehr guter toaster, herd ….) und gemütlicher tisch mit einer tollen aussicht. das schlafzimmer ist angenehm groß und das bett super bequem. im bad befindet sich eine tolle dusche und ein sehr guter spiegel mit beleuchtung. uns hat an nichts gefehlt, nur viel zu wenig zeit. die besitzer:innen waren total nett und es hat einfach alles gepasst. wir kommen wieder!

Die Wohnung hat uns in allen möglichen Punkten einfach gut gefallen. Es sind gerade 5 Minuten gemütlich zu gehen bis zur erlebnisreichen Fußgängerzone von Trier, an deren Eingang von dieser Seite die Porta Nigra stehen. Am Stärksten waren wir von der Tatsache beeindruckt, wie ruhig es um die Wohnung herum ist, obwohl man sich ja tatsächlich schon mitten in Trier befindet. Für uns war das nur der Erste von hoffentlich noch vielen Aufenthalten dort.
