Great location by MPCC. House is very basic and no frills and might be best of a guys golf trip rather than a family stay. Some small issues that need to be addressed like the shower handle not working and lack of cleaning supplies. Pillows are older, beds not the most comfortable.

The house in Pebble Beach is good. But the experience was not. I had to contact the owner to find out how we get into this gated community. She said our name would be at the gate. It wasn’t. I was unable to reach her, and after a 6 hour drive with kids, we were anxious to get settled. So we paid the entrance. When she finally called me she said it was Security’s error and I should go back and get a refund. Of course they said no, but she wanted me to continue asking. All this over $12. Needless to say, this was not how I wanted to spend my vacation. I told her to send me the money, and she did. When we got home she contacted me telling me the property was going to refund my money (which they didn’t), and I should send her back the $12. At least she could have told me to keep it for my inconvenience. A head’s up about the owner, which is a shame because it’s a nice property.

The location was perfect and convenient. The aquarium was a quick 10 min drive as was yummy food in pacific grove. Supermarkets are close as is the beach. We had a 16 month old and needed to move some furniture around to keep it safe but there’s so much space for our family

Just a fantastic property! We arrived and there was everything we needed. The house is clean and tidy, 4 beds (we ended up having 6 people so we just bought an air mattress), the golf course behind it is a very nice touch. Its close to everything! The best part about it was Helen! She was communicative and super easy to talk to. She took care of everything we needed within minutes. Would absolutely stay here again!

Had a group that met in Monterey for three days of golf on the peninsula and Helen's house was just perfect for us. Location couldn't be better - house backs right up to #2 tee of MPCC. Easy access to all courses, and close to the shoreline as well. Very easy check-in and check-out, comfortable beds, Great shower. Will stay again in the future for sure. Thanks Helen!

The house is in a great location - within the 17 mile drive near a lot of golf courses, coast line and nearby Monterrey and Carmel. It was also comfortable and the showers were very luxurious. The tv was a little difficult to maneuver, but then again, you’re not really there for tv.

Let me begin by saying that the property owner mixed up our reservations and our family had to change plans and rearrange time off so we could travel one day later than planned. Directions and check in instructions were alright but the listing says check in at 2pm but the house cleaners were still on site when we arrived and not finished cleaning. The house has several points of disrepair - no plug for the tub to bathe my child, broken latches on all of the gates were a safety hazard for my 2 year old and all doors had issues opening and closing (we all came home with scraped up knuckles from opening the door to the patio). The furniture is all mismatched and very old/outdated like yard sale stuff you have in your first apartment. We were left with 1 ply toliet paper and no garbage bags. Also, the garbage cans were full when we arrived and the trash service never came so we had to just stack up our trash bags. There was a photo of a washing machine in the listing but it was locked up in the garage with no access to use (a big issue with a two year old). Overall we made the best of the situation and the house is really in a beautiful place with easy access into town but, we will not be back.

From the beginning of this searching for the perfect location for my birthday golf trip to the very end when we sadly had to leave I couldn't say more about the property and the host. Helen was wonderful in her communication with me very helpful. The house itself was just simply amazing. Perfect location for golf on the Monterey peninsula with access to all your favorite courses. Hopefully we will be able to return to this gem.

Our group does an annual golf trip and this time we wanted to go to Monterey. Found this listing and it seemed a good fit for us. Turns out it was much better than expected. The pictures on the VRBO listing represent the property, but it's actually bigger than what we thought. A BBQ grill is a necessity with our group and there is a nice one on property. Unfortunately, it did not have propane in it. We got it filled locally, and the owner, Helen, is covering our cost. Minor setback. The property itself is very nice and cozy. Kitchen is well stocked and both kitchen and bathrooms have been upgraded very nicely. The property location is in a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible. Great place and great experience. Helen, thank you for sharing your vacation home - very memorable trip for our group.

The house was incredibly clean and was the perfect space for me and three friends on our annual golf trip. The location is quiet and beautiful. You can sit on the back patio and see one of the fairways at MPCC, with the tee box just above the property. We played Bayonet and Blackhorse as well as Poppy Hills and all are so close to the house. I would definitely stay there again in the future and recommend this property!

The home location is nice….quiet area and good access to the area. No dressers to place clothes and no hangers so the functionality of the place is challenging. Toilet clogged and no plunger accessible; Had a challenge getting past security into neighborhood because owner didn’t list our name correctly at gate. Limited kitchen utensils but ok to manage unless you eat in most meals

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Helen's home. We are both golfers and played the 3 of the most beautiful courses, including Pebble Beach.. The home is very close to the 17 mile drive, restaurants, golf courses etc. We enjoyed the very well- equipped, comfortable accommodations and look forward to returning soon. Thank you!
