About this villa rental
Spend your holidays in Tuscany, near the sea, in the heart of the green Maremma. In Spring, Summer, Autumn.
Our house is located on the hills behind Castiglione della Pescaia.
Near the ancient villages of Vetulonia, Gavorrano, Giuncarico, Buriano, Montepescali.
Less than 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia, Cala Violina, Follonica.
Less than 1 hour to reach the Natural Park of Maremma, Siena, the thermal baths of Saturnia, Pitigliano, Montalcino, Pisa.
The house is very comfortably furnished.
Ground floor:
1 living room with fireplace and sofa bed
1 large kitchen equipped with a table for 8/10 people
1 large room of 25 m². with 3 single beds
1 full bathroom with tub and shower
On the first floor:
1 large bedroom of 25 sqm. with double bed (+ 1 - 2 single beds)
1 large bedroom of 25 sqm. with 2 single beds (+ 1 single bed)
1 bathroom with shower.
Veranda:
Large veranda of 60 sqm. equipped with table and chairs
Garden:
Large garden of 2000 square meters. completely fenced and reserved.
Pool:
Private swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters (open from June to October)

Numerous food and wine tours, among the most beautiful vineyards of the Maremma.

Schöne Doppelhaushälfte mit toller Terrasse und schönem Pool. Das Haus hat Atmosphäre und genug Platz für bis zu 8 Personen in 3 Zimmern. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.
Warum uns der Vermieter allerdings nach 10 Stunden Autoanreise angemuffelt hat, weil wir statt 15.00 Uhr bereits 14.00 Uhr angekommen sind, bleibt wohl sein Geheimnis. Auf jeden Fall ist so eine Begrüßung unmöglich. Es gibt eine ganze Reihe von Mängeln im Haus und auf dem Gelände. Eine Gartenlampe funktioniert nicht, weil angeblich Insekten dadurch angelockt werden. Die Poolbeleuchtung geht nicht, mit dem Hinweis des Vermieters, das eine Reparatur zu aufwändig wäre. Dadurch ist der Pool am Abend, wenn es dunkel ist, nicht nutzbar, es gibt auch außerhalb des Pools kein Licht.
Die Küche war erst nach einer mehrstündigen Reinigung, wirklich benutzbar. Geschirr, Schränke, Dunstabzugshaube und Regale waren klebrig. Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte insgesamt auch eine Auffrischung vertragen. Der Duschvorhang im unteren Bad war grenzwertig.
Wer absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier nicht richtig. Direkt neben der Terasse steht auf dem Nachbargrundstück ein Haus das von einer italienischen Familie in entsprechender Lautstärke bewohnt wird. Das ist halt so, aber man sollte es wissen.
Insgesamt bleibt bei uns ein positives Fazit mit Abstrichen. Wir haben für gleiches Geld schon besser in der Toscana gewohnt.

Une maison conforme au descriptif , avec piscine et grand jardin au calme au milieu de la maremme . Point de chute pour visiter pise et florence ( à 2 h ) et proche de la mer .Proprietaire tres sympathique et conseillant tres bien sur les centres d'interets . Je recommande vivement cette location

"Très belle maison, très bien amménagée, idéale pour un séjour en famille. Piscine et jardin parfaits. Région magnifique, en pleine campagne. Propriétaires très accueillants et chaleureux. Une seule remarque: la présence de chiens très bruyants à proximité......"

The house is well located to drive around and discover Tuscany, and Gec was very helpful in recommending places to visit, beaches, restaurants, etc. The outdoor space of the house was amazing to relax by the pool or on the patio. Beware of mosquitoes (we were there in July) who were very aggressive and numerous.
The inside of the house could be improved: it would probably benefit from a fresh coat of paint and more than anything a deep clean. It would have been nice to have the beds done when we arrived, and to see mattress and pillow protectors for added hygiene. New(er) towels are probably necessary as well.
