La casa del capitano

The view is just .. amazing! The apartment was ok, maybe could have been a biiiit more cleaner. The fact that we had washing machine was a bless as there is no service as self-laundry around, and is always convenient to do it yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped but mind that the groceries aren’t easy to do especially not close by. Lucia the owner was so thoughtful and provided us a light breakfast. She even offered us beach towels and umbrellas which were so useful! The stairs from the square up to the apartment weren’t my favourite (at all) but at least I didn’t got any weight after all that pizza&pasta diet :)))

A few bath towels to juggle with would have been great! And a few more coffee pods for the coffee machine to cover the whole stay for 2 adults per day would have been great as we couldn’t find anywhere to buy the right type.. The shops in Atrani but also in Amalfi have a limited offer, and a strange open hours.

Host was very responsive and helpful. The apartment had bites for breakfast, great coffee, shampoo etc, was super clean and amazing location - only a 10 minute walk to Amalfi

The stairs are a killer with heavy luggage. However this was expected from the description and reviews. Be sure to pack light :)

The view is amazing! Sitting at the kitchen table having your coffee with two breezy windows to look out was great! Everything was clean and the two beds were ok, a little hard. Bedrooms have big French doors for lots of air flow and views. Kitchen has all the things. Clothes washer was very handy! Be prepared to climb 200 stairs up with your luggage, but it’s totally worth the burn. Amalfi is a 10 minute walk away.

The aircon (there is only in one room) did not work but the apartment is breezy enough.
