Casa Lauritano

La maison est tout simplement exceptionnelle! Elle se déroule sur 6 niveaux, depuis le petit escalier situé près de la piazza principale d'Atrani (où le petit-déjeuner compris dans la location est proposé chaque matin) jusqu'à la terrasse au soleil, vue sur l'église et la mer. La rénovation est impressionante, le souci du détail, la finesse des matériaux, les lits sont larges et confortables, le linge de maison est impeccable, c'est un voyage dans le temps, rythmé par le clocher qui sonne tous les quarts d'heure. Un joli chemin d'escaliers et sentier côtier vous amène en 12 minutes à l'effervescente Amalfi. Un séjour inoubliable!

I have never had a host that was so ATTENTIVE. He helped us plan and reserve things better than a travel agent! He was very knowledgeable of the area and the best way to accomplish transportation and attractions. He was always responsive and above and beyond. The location of this home is exactly where you want to be to make your way up and down the coast. A short walk to Amalfi was so easy to take a ferry or any other transportation. But a bus station stop right in town. The town has many lovely places to eat and buy any essentials. The home itself does have stairs to each level however was very spacious and suited our family of 4 with 2 teenagers perfectly. A lovely terrace for views and outdoor dining. If we could have stayed longer we would have! We will reserve here again when we make our way back to the coast ;)

If you have young children or older people staying the stairs may be a concern. The accommodation is split over 7 levels and the stairs can be daunting…we decided to leave our luggage in the lower foyer to save dragging spaces up and down. But other than that we loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!
