Everything about our stay was magical. First and foremost, the hosts are unmatched in their kindness and hospitality. They welcomed us so warmly and made us feel so comfortable. You absolutely have to do the cooking class! Not only is the view incredible, you get to enjoy amazing food, learn some cooking techniques, and enjoy the company of the amazing hosts. We were so sad to leave. It felt like we made new friends. And the home itself is of course amazing - it’s hard for photos to do it justice.

Some places you visit. Villa Nina is a place that welcomes you home. The Romans held hospitium, the sacred duty of welcoming a guest, to be watched over by the gods. Roberto and Francesca inherited that reverence whole. We arrived as guests and within minutes felt like family who had been away too long. Their warmth poured out of them, instant and genuine. They swept up our luggage and carried it up the steps so fast the rest of us were left out of breath just watching. If the Italian triathlon team is ever short two athletes, we know exactly where they live. They walked us through every detail and then some. The nearby grocery stores, cafés and bars all within an easy walk. The bus schedule written out by hand. A quiet beach they love, tucked away from the crowds, the kind of secret you only learn from people who truly know a place. On our first night they cooked for us. Home-cooked, healthy, and so good it turns a house into a memory. TThe villa is generous and easy to love. Enough rooms for a large family, two full bathrooms, and a kitchen with everything you need. Outside, a table under an umbrella where meals stretch into the evening, and a smaller one beneath a lemon tree for a drink while the coast glows below. And the view. The photos are only a whisper of the real thing. We spent seven nights in Italy, and Villa Nina was the heart of the whole journey. Not because of the walls or the view, but because of the two people who fill the place with their spirit. In life you meet some people you forget in five minutes, and a rare few you carry forever. Roberto and Francesca are the latter, good-hearted to their core. We came for the Amalfi Coast and left having gained two friends. All roads may lead to Rome, but the finest one led us here. Arrive open-hearted. You will leave the same way, and reluctant to go.
Honestly nothing. If we had to invent a complaint, it would only be that three nights was not enough and we did not want to leave.

Torneremo presto a trovarli!

It’s a lovely, very characteristic villa with plenty of space & beautiful views, operated by a charming couple. While you are high above Amalfi, the village of Pogerola is a short walk … excellent restaurants, good coffee & gelato! In addition, there is very good bus service down the hills to Amalfi as well as to Ravello or anyplace else you’d want to go in the area. We were happy to be “above it all” in the peaceful atmosphere.
