Sea view villa on the whole Amalfi Coast, with garden, relax

Wonderful house with great views.

There was a double booking on the property so Irene found us an alternate place which was fabulous. She was helpful in finding taxis for us as well. So I can not comment on the property per say but I can not say enough good things about Irene for fixing everything for us

We spent nearly a month in this lovely piece of paradise. The setting of the house is unbelievable and at times we felt like we were living in a beautiful painting or postcard of the Amalfi Coast. Paola was a very good host. She met us at the house, gave us a tutorial about the area, showed us where to get groceries (and had them delivered), pointed out the various sights and was only a text or a phone call away for any assistance we needed. Additionally, Luigi, her dad, could not have been more welcoming and gentlemanly. We spent this month with our children and grandchildren, a house full! The memories that were made were fantastic. We entertained Italian relatives with the help of Paola and her ability to call a restaurant or pizza take out and have meals delivered. The house was clean and comfortable. The views are spectacular. The hills are a little daunting, but that is the coast. Towns along the coast are accessible by bus or taxi. Thank you Paola and Luigi for our time at your lovely home. We enjoyed our six-night stay in Paola's lovely villa. The pictures on the VRBO website accurately portray this property. The house itself is located about halfway between the town of Amalfi and the town square in Ravello. It is not readily accessible on foot from either location unless you really like to hike--- and that's not advisable on the Amalfi coast roads. The furnishings are quite sparse-- there were four of us, but just a single sofa for comfortable seating. Paola advised us that she was going to to some refurbishing and that's a good idea. We enjoyed the outside patio with Mediterranean Sea views. The washing machine was a plus as we were able to get clean clothes for the second week of our Italy visit. There are 42 steps from the front door up to the gated driveway access. The outside lights did not work well (we had to switch them on from the lower level and they did not stay on very long) so the steps were tricky in the dark. We could have used a better coffee pot. If you just enjoy sitting back with a nice glass of wine enjoying the views-- away from the crowds in Amalfi--- this is the perfect place for you.
