About this house rental
Villa La Delfinella is an old two floored house in the outskirts of Praiano, on the Amalfi Coast. It was built on a rock at one kilometre from the centre of Praiano. You reach the entrance going down a flight of 70 steps. From both terraces, on the first floor and on the ground floor, you have an unobstructed view of the magnificent coastline and the wide sea. They are equipped with tables, chairs and sun beds. One of them is partly shaded by a reed covered pergola. On the first floor there is one large living room comfortably furnished with couches, armchairs and satellite tv, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bathroom with shower and blow dryer. On the ground floor in the annex there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom, one with tub and one with shower. Furthermore there is a second living room with armchairs, long benches and a dining table for 10 guests and another bathroom with shower. A kitchen equipped with washing machine, gas cooker, microwave, electric oven, dish washing machine and ironing facilities completes the furnishing of the beautiful villa.
A grocery store, a restaurant and the bus stop for Amalfi, Positano and Pompei are within 200 meters from the house. It offers parking space for an intermediate car on the property and also is included in the price the daily cleaning service. Villa La Delfinella is the right place for larger communities looking for tranquillity without renouncing to the necessary services for a perfect holiday.

Staying in Praiano was perfect. Halfway between Amalfi and Positano which were both an easy bus ride away, but much more intimate, quiet and authentic. The home was roomy, convenient and comfortable even if a bit dated and worn. Location, views and peace and quiet were exceptional.
Check in, check out and daily care provided by Mr. Luca was very high quality and personable. Very grateful to him for his genuine care and assistance.

First of all , Mr.Luca / very helpful and communicative.Also the agency /Mr.Giuseppe/ promptly responding to us before arrival. A functional, spacious house with a beautiful view. Older peaple : beware , many /65/ steps to the entrance of the house. But we managed..This is the charm of most homes in Amalfitana coast.

Entering this house you begin to feel like a 'local' The house feels personal, lived in. it is furnished eclectically in a local and traditional way. It has not been renewed or modernized much. It is full of art and books which made me curious about the owners and their lives. The bedrooms all except the 4th one at the bottom of "annex" were pleasant, bright and simply furnished. The last bedroom was also nice, but smaller and dark as it had only one window. The kitchen is basic but well equipped for everyday cooking. Bathrooms are also basic but have what you need. The terraces were amazing ! We enjoyed morning coffee and aperitivo with wonderful views from both. All in all our family loved the house and recommend it for an authentic experience of Praiano.
