One of the most beautiful houses I have stayed at, and definitely one of the top machiyas in Kyoto. The river view alone is worth every penny, but the design, the staff and the location (5-10 minute walk from Gion or Nishiki Market with none of the tourists around) is incredible. Truly one of a kind and will return here from now on whenever I come back to Kyoto.

Fantastische plek om te verblijven in Kyoto. Heel goed gelegen en heel erg ruim. Het is een compleet vrijstaand huis met twee verdiepingen. Heel veel ruimte voor een verblijf met meerdere personen. Ook goed om te weten is dat het heel erg toegankelijk is. Vrijwel geen drempels en naast een mooie trap naar de slaapverdieping ook een in huis lift. Gion is net over de brug en Nishiki markt is op loopafstand. Net als grote warenhuizen als Takashimaya en Daimaru. Ook OV is erg in de buurt. Metro en bus binnen 5 minuten lopen.
Er is niets dat ons niet is bevallen.

absolute perfection: location, layout… Absolutely stunning.
frankly nothing it was a dream. ideally I would have appreciated a later checkout… (3pm to 11am a bit harsh)
