About this apartment rental

The mighty Block 3 of the former KdF facility Prora stretches directly behind the dunes of what is probably the most beautiful Baltic Sea beach. Nowhere is the beach as close as in Prora. Here you will find the lovingly renovated holiday home "Haus Granitz" in the middle of the block.
The bright and child-friendly apartment "Heimathafen" has 65 m² of living space and can accommodate up to 4 people. From the two bedrooms, the living room and from the balcony there is a wonderful view towards the Baltic Sea and the protective pine forest.
The apartment is easily accessible by elevator. The living area is open plan and offers access to the balcony. In the "good room" you will find a comfortable couch, flat screen TV, DVD player, music system and WiFi. In the kitchen area you will find an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, spacious refrigerator with freezer, a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and extensive kitchen inventory including children's dishes. The large dining table comfortably seats 4 people. The apartment also has a high chair for toddlers.
The large bedroom welcomes you with a double bed, a flat-screen TV and a spacious wardrobe. The beds in the second bedroom are separate. Storage space offers two chests of drawers and pull-outs under the beds. Here our little guests will also find a small selection of children's toys and reading books. A foldable baby bed with mattress can also be set up and is provided free of charge. In both bedrooms, blackout pleated blinds and fly screens ensure a good night's sleep.
In the apartment's own storage room, our guests can use a washing machine free of charge. There is also space for strollers or suitcases during your stay.
Through the in-house beach access you can reach the beach in about 2-3 minutes. A baker is right in the house and provides fresh rolls every day. There is a parking space near the house.
Prora continues to develop architecturally. The area is being renovated stylishly and carefully. This can lead to negative effects from construction vehicles and construction noise. We therefore grant a 10% discount on the rental price. This covers any claims arising from a defect caused by the construction sites. The discount is already taken into account in the rental price.

Bed linen and towels have to be booked for a fee if required. Please contact us by email.

There are several restaurants and cafes in Prora, including an Italian restaurant and an excellent burger restaurant. In the immediate vicinity you will find a bike rental, a cosmetic studio, a hairdresser and numerous shops.
The very lively city center of Binz can be reached in a few minutes by car or on foot (approx. 4 km). In Binz there is also the train station, from which you can travel in all directions. Supermarkets and a petrol station are also located in Binz.

Wir haben zu dritt einen richtig entspannten Urlaub in dieser Wohnung mit einem tollen, breiten Strand vor der Haustür gehabt! Positiv ist uns aufgefallen # Schöne und saubere Wohnung mit gehobener Ausstattung wie - Villeroy & Boch- sowie NEFF Geräte in der Küche, - Geberit im Bad (mit Sumatra Rain Dusche), - Dyson Staubsauger. # Bollerwagen zur Nutzung (praktisch zum Ent- und Beladen des Gepäcks!) # Waschmaschine zur Nutzung in separater Abstellkammer. # Großer TV (116 cm) im WZ sowie im Elternschlafzimmer # Durchdachte Kleinigkeiten wie - Schuhanzieher, - Hand-Staubsauger für die Krümel zwischendurch, - Starter-Päckchen (1 Toilettenpapierrolle, 1 Spüllappen, Streichhölzer, 1 Spülbürste, 3 Spülmaschinentabs,etc.), - Fliegengitter am Fenster in beiden Schlafzimmern. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge # Ein Toilettenpapierhalter im Bad, # Neuer Akku für den Hand-Staubsauger, # Eine Mikrowelle wäre schön, # TV Programme im Schlafzimmer TV komplett verstreut (Bsp.: ARD_HD Kanal 019; PRO 7: Kanal 291). Die oft angesprochenen Bauarbeiten haben uns nicht gestört. Man muss wissen, dass sich die Parkplätze vor den Gebäuden und die Zufahrtsstraße noch im Bau befinden. Es sind aber genug Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll ist der große Balkon, die unmittelbare Strandnähe und die Möglichkeit einkaufen zu gehen. Ein Dyson Staubsauger mit Ladestation an der Wand half, den Ostseesand in der Wohnung in Schach zu halten. Der Abstellraum mit Waschmaschine bietet Unterstellmöglichkeiten für die Dachbox und die Strandutensilien. TOP! Die Matratzen im Ehebett fanden wir zu schmal und die Kopfkissen waren uns zu stark gefüllt. Aber das ist individuelle Geschmacksache. Ein paar Handtuchhaken in der Küche für die Geschirrhandtücher wären praktisch gewesen. Das Außengelände wird gerade bebaut, Parkplätze und Nebengebäude sind im Entstehungsprozess. Baulärm haben wir aber während unseres Aufenthalts nicht wahrgenommen. Bäcker und diverse Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Uns hat der Urlaub gut gefallen und wir kommen wieder.

Tolle Lage und wunderschöner Strand. Die Häuser sind schön renoviert und die Ferienwohnung bietet alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, so fühlt man sich wohl. Die Sicht auf die Ostsee und das Rauschen der Wellen machen ein perfektes Urlaubsfeeling. Ruhe und Erholung findet man hier.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, man muss der Umgebung aber noch ein paar Jahre Zeit geben bis alle Bauarbeiten abgeschlossen sind.
