Notes on the north-facing side: The north-facing orientation poses no problem due to the sun’s position in the summer. In our experience, the entire pool terrace is guaranteed to get sun all day long. The veranda, on the other hand, offers soothing shaded spots when needed.

The natural limitations in winter are more than compensated for by the immense Captains’ Promenade (solarium) right on the water.

Sun is guaranteed all day long, even in winter. In particular—unlike under the awning—it is often pleasantly cooler due to the immediate proximity to the water.

Mosquitoes, etc., have never been a problem.
