Overall the house and property were great! The neighborhood is quiet and everything we needed was within a few minute drive. We read reviews that said the house needed updating so we were pleasantly surprised to see the owner has started on this already. (Smart TV’s have been installed so streaming is they way to go if you want a good variety) The furnishings that are dated are all functional so it didn’t really matter to us how they looked.
The weather during our stay was cooler than normal and the pool loses afternoon sun so the pool heater was unable to keep up and we were unable to swim. Despite this quirk it was nice to have the lanai. We also enjoyed fishing from and relaxing on the dock in late afternoon and morning.
The extra amenities such as pool towels, beach equipment, fishing poles, bicycles, were an added bonus. We loved seeing the burrowing owls on the property.
The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating equipment and a nice size pantry provides a storage area for your own food.
The master bedroom is large with a large bathroom but there is little space to store personal belongings in the bedroom. As a result, since there were only two of us, we moved to the second bedroom and used the “kiddie” room to store and hang our clothes. There was plenty of space in each of these rooms.
We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!!

We have always enjoyed the Cape Coral area and the location of this home was ideal. The lanai/pool area is nice but the rest of the home was a dated. Upon arrival we spent a fair amount of time cleaning the home as well. An unfortunate issue while renting this home was days after booking our daughter became engaged and we contacted the property to cancel. We were told that this property was not eligible for cancellation with any refund even though my request came 48 hours after I booked it. I'm not sure if this is still the case but I had never encountered a policy like this with any other rentals.
There were a few minor issues during our rental and the owners were very kind and prompt with resolving them. They also sent us a gift basket for Valentines Day which was very thoughtful. All and all we had a nice stay and again the owners were very pleasant to work with.
