Strategically located in the heart of Florence - just a 3-minutes walking distance from the Duomo - this 2-bedroom**, 2-bathroom apartment is a great option for both vacation rentals and longer term stays.
The property is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) of a historical building on a typical Florentine pedestrian street bustling with tourist traffic. Despite this, the apartment is relatively quiet.
Upon entering the flat, a spacious entrance hall leads to the warm and inviting living room where your gaze is immediately captured by the commanding view of Brunelleschi’s Cupola and Giotto’s Bell Tower through the large windows. Lots of natural light floods into the living room and the adjoining fully equipped and modern open kitchen, where an elegant dark wooden table and four leather chairs face the view.
A windowed corridor links the living room area with the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The view of Florence’s cathedral dominates the wall beside the double bed, in front of which a large dresser and closet offer ample storage space.
From the living room, wooden stairs lead up to a mezzanine floor where a large room with a sofa bed may be used as a second bedroom with the option of having two twin beds or combining them into a double bed. **This second bedroom space is separate and very private, despite the fact that it is not a closed off individual room. Through the roof window the Duomo and Bell Tower remain ever present. A closet room connects this room to the second bathroom upstairs.

We loved our stay at Borgo Albizi. The kitchen was up to date and new. The neighborhood and location was fabulous and was central enough to get to all of the hot spots but set back enough for quiet. Lots of nearby restaurants and market close by. The view of the Duomo right from the window was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, good water pressure in shower, nice space to sit at the end of the day. Check in process and communication was good as well. Apartment was clean and had the necessary appliances and service ware for cooking meals. There were games and books for spare time. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Overall nice place to stay, especially for a family of 5. Convenient located near many attractions. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

I don't think I read the full details, so when we found out that it was on the 3rd floor without a lift, we were shocked. However, by day 2 it wasn't so bad going up and down the stairs. The location, the loft, the cleanliness..did I say the location? makes up for there not being a lift!
We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Florence.
Beds were comfortable, the view was AMAZING!

The property is in a great location plenty of restaurants ...cafes things to do nearby.
It has a great view.
Nice sized property..
Things I would like to see happen is some type of upgrading of shower...extremely small even for my petite frame child...and almost impossible for my giant body..had to step out of shower to be able to lather up.
Also AC was struggling...definetly time to upgrade AC ...to be fair we were there at one of the hottest points.
The only problem I really had with the place was the stairs...yes ...yes I know...they mention the stairs in the Ad...but its steep and its roughly 8 floors worth of walking upstairs...which isnt fun...with suitcases...and no help..lol
Not trying to be lazy..but it was a challenge.
cleaning lady was amazing ...suoer sweet!!!
