About this apartment rental
Located on the second floor of a historic building between the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce, in a typical and lively district, this spacious, bright and stylish apartment sleeps up to seven people. Recently renovated with great attention to detail has been furnished combining antique and modern furnishings. Natural light permeates every room thanks to high ceilings, large windows and light wooden floors. The apartment is located in the historic city center, a short walk from the main monuments and museums, in a lively and typical area, full of restaurants, cafes, markets, theaters and shopping: a perfect location to discover the hidden beauties of Florence.
Upon entering the apartment, we find a very bright entrance with a single sofa bed, chest and paintings from the ancient taste. The large living area features a sofa bed and a sofa, plus a flat screen TV. To the right, a corridor leads to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a large wardrobe, while the second bedroom has two single beds and wardrobe Florentine Renaissance style. The two bathrooms have a bath and the other a walk-in shower. At the end of the corridor is the spacious dining room with a large table for six people and a comfortable belief. The kitchen is very spacious and bright, modern style, fully equipped with everything that might serve to cook and feel at home: from the oven to the dishwasher, the cookware in the microwave, from filter coffee machine to the kettle. The best way to get around is on foot. In a few minutes you reach the Duomo to continue up to the old bridge and cross the Arno to Piazza Pitti. The central station of SMN is about 15/20 minutes on foot, a pleasant walk through the historic center passing from the Piazza del Duomo. Many bike rental points are nearby. Access to public services, electric buses that run through the old town and other buses that connect the center with other neighboring areas, are located within 100 meters. Taxis come to call in a few minutes from the house. The detailed information will be provided at the time of your arrival.

From the accuracy of the online listing; to the pre-visit communication with the property management team; to the perfect neighborhood and location; to the lightness and spaciousness of the apartment; this was a win win win rental property. The rental process was seamless. The rental property was well-equipped.
Our family (parents and 2 adult children) enjoyed a relaxing sojourn in Florence and the environs. Walking, biking, bus and train travel made our stay interesting and our visits to sites, museums and nearby communities easily managed.

My family and I stayed here for a week on vacation and the location in relation to the sites was so perfect. It was an easy walk to lots of restaurants in all directions. The apartment itself was very clean and had a great layout.
It seems like there was a club on the same street, however, and there was lots of loud partying on the street below our windows at night, so earplugs and white noise is a must to drown it out.
Heads up that when you arrive, the host will ask for photos of your passports and ~€150 cash for Florence taxes and apparently to comply with some police mandate. We were exhausted after arriving from our long flight, so we just complied, but it was a little uncomfortable and seemed strange/sketchy to handle money outside of the app.
In all, the host was quick in responding in the app, the apartment was nice, the location was nice, but there was a lot of noise at night, and some sketchy interactions once there.
